Cedar Valley Farm in Toano is hiring!
We are a family-centered equestrian facility dedicated to the well-being and performance of our horses and to providing excellent service to our customers.

Position Overview:
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our barn crew. Looking to fill weekday and weekend morning and afternoon shifts.
This position plays a vital role in ensuring the health, happiness, and overall well-being of our horses.

Responsibilities:
* Daily feeding and turnout of horses
* Stall cleaning and general barn maintenance
* Assisting with veterinary and farrier visits
* Administering medications and supplements as directed
* Monitoring horses for signs of illness or injury

Qualifications:
* Previous experience working with horses preferred
* Knowledge of basic horse care and handling techniques
* Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
* Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently and as part of a team

Last but not least from the SWVHJA Finals!

Moonracer, owned by Karen R. Dickman and ridden by Alyssa Ennas, had a great weekend — earning 2nd in the Costume Handy and 4th in the Special Children’s Hunter Classic! 🌙 Neal Blair also piloted Moonracer to a 1st in Schooling Hunter Over Fences! 💫🐴

It was a beautiful weekend filled with great rides, team spirit, and amazing memories at the show grounds. Thank you to SWVHJA for hosting such a fun and well-run Finals, and to Brooke and Keriann for the beautiful braids all weekend long! 💙✨

Ruby Moon, owned by Jill Tewksbury and ridden by Riley Martin, had an outstanding weekend — earning Champion in Junior Pleasure, Reserve Champion in Pleasure Hunter, and 2nd in the Pleasure Hunter Stake! 🌙 Riley wasn’t the only one shining — Neal Blair also rode Ruby Moon to a 1st in Schooling Hunter! 💫
