Did you know that we started a hermit crab rescue and adoption program? Maybe you’ve never heard of such a thing but yes, hermit crabs do need rescuing! We’re still developing our website and educational materials but we are ready to find homes for our 22 foster crabs. If you are interested in adopting or need to find a new home for your crab(s), send us a message! Or stop by to see some of the available crabs, they’re on display in the lobby.

Many of you know that we have been doing a complete remodel to our kennel. It’s been a long road to get where we are and we’re not done yet. We felt it was time to share some progress photos. The epoxy on the walls and floor is complete and the new kennel system is going in now!

Effective immediately, until further notice, our office will be closed on Saturdays. Our kennel staff will still be providing the same level of care and covering the same number of hours.

This change is only temporary but we don’t know when we will resume our normal office hours. We are still open and providing grooming, daycare, and boarding. This change is to help manage our payroll expense while we get through the COVID-19 pandemic.

We made Valentines with most of our daycare dogs! Not every dog thought it was a good idea so if you don’t get one, just know they still love you!

Edited to add: the paint is nontoxic children’s finger paint. We washed everyone’s toes after they finished their card.
