Arrived at the dog park this morning to find all the gates open. Please, please close the gates behind you!!

⚠️ Always close the gate! ⚠️

❓ If the dog park is empty at the exact moment you leave, it may seem unnecessary. But here’s why it’s still important to close the gate even then:

💡 An open gate can swing further open and get damaged in the wind, or animals like deer, raccoons, or stray dogs might wander in. This can create safety or sanitation issues.

👉 Basically, it’s like fastening your seatbelt when you drive a short distance — it might feel unnecessary at times, but the routine itself is what guarantees safety.

Stevie’s Field of Dreams Dog Park is OPEN after a long winter! 🐾

The pups will be so happy to get out and run, play, and burn off some of that winter energy. We’re excited to see the grass again at Stevie’s Field of Dreams!

A couple quick notes for visitors:
• It’s still pretty muddy, so plan accordingly.
• The water fountains are not installed yet for the season.
• The gates shifted a bit over the winter, so please be careful when entering and exiting until we get them adjusted.

Thanks for your patience as we get everything ready for the season and enjoy getting those dogs back out to play! 🐶🌱

‼️ Stevie’s Field of Dreams – Winter Closure Notice ‼️

Due to the recent ice buildup around the gates, Stevie’s Field of Dreams will be CLOSED for the winter. ❄️

The ice is preventing the gates from closing properly, and this morning we even had to chisel ice just to get the main gate shut. To avoid damage to the gates and ensure everyone’s safety, we’ve made the decision to close the park for the season.

We know how much our pups (and their humans!) love this space, and we appreciate your understanding as we protect the park through the winter months. 🐶💙

We look forward to reopening in the spring and adding some new agility equipment!
