We have an investigation at Animal Control that revealed a household that possesses about 22 dogs and cats. Most of us would consider that excessive, but that's not unheard of in Rabun County. Most of the places we visit as Animal Control are from lower income families where it's common to find people who live without the likes of television, or internet, or even vehicles or running water. Oftentimes for these people, the only things they have are their families and their pets. We would like to go ahead and say that we believe the people in this particular case genuinely care about their animals. We want to be able to help these people and educate them on how to be more responsible pet owners. Today we would like to ask for the community’s help with this case. We need $4000 to cover Spay/Neuter and vetting. We also plan on tackling fleas by washing the animals and providing flea prevention on site in “The Christina Freeman Project Wellness Waggin” Van.
Please donate to help us help our community!
Thank you,
