Independence Day is coming up fast! This program can be beneficial to any dog but with fireworks quickly approaching this would be worth consideration.

I was thinking I'd skip creating something for fireworks this year because, well... time, energy, and getting a late start.

But then I remembered how many people have the exact same thought about 3 days before the big event and start doom scrolling online for a tip or trick to help them get through the weekend.

(And this year? It's an ENTIRE weekend!)

No shame to those who meant to do something this year but didn't - life gets busy and priorities reshuffle.

We took Miss Willow on a Tractor Supply run yesterday during our lesson. She did amazing for her first store trip, I'm really enjoying watching this dog grow and learn!

Bagheera at the end of his first private lesson. Someone was worn out😂
Bagheera is an approximately 4 month old lab and great Dane mix. We are going to work on obedience as well as appropriate socialization, Bagheera is destined to be a running buddy with his owner. Soon you may see him around town showing off his manners and his handsome face🥰

A little bit of a doggy drop in for Miss Willow today! This isn't a training visit but since she's young, smart, and full of energy we are "play training" to work that brain with the body. I'm touching on stuff that we've already worked on in our private lessons and also introducing some new things but it's all very low pressure. You can see how quickly using their brain can tire a dog out, very important for the higher energy breeds and young dogs!

Goose the malinois puppy is growing up! He's now enrolled in our board & train program to polish up the training we've been doing in private lessons. We will spend the next several weeks working and playing together and shaping this boy into the best version of himself! Kiersten Larae McDaniel

We've attended this clinic and I recommend this for everyone! It's the only way to truly protect our dogs in South Texas and much less expensive than antivenon!

This past weekend we got a last minute invite to a bite work seminar at Dogma Academy for Dog Trainers, LLC and Tilly had a blast! I'm looking forward to learning more and working with her in this sport and others. She's such an amazing dog, thank you to Nach dem Sturm Kennels for trusting me with this gorgeous girl!

Dog parks do not = socialization, your dog doesn't need to go to them and any potential positive is far outweighed by the negatives.
