Horses Helping Children
Horses can have a therapeutic effect on children - they can boost morale, serve as a friend and teacher, provide purpose and achievement, and offer a healthy alternative to other activities. Yet many children never have the opportunity to experience the joy of horses.
Spring Creek Horses Help Foundation brings the experience of horses to under-resourced children through an equine-based comprehensive educational program. The Foundation focuses its work primarily on low-income families and at-risk youth in Southwest Michigan (Michiana) and surrounding areas. Courses include classroom learning, caring for and working with animals, riding, and outdoor activities.
