Spring Creek Horses Help Foundation was established with the goal of bringing the experience of horses, through an equine-based comprehensive educational program, to under-resourced children in Southwest Michigan (Michiana) and surrounding areas.

Spring Creek Horses Help Foundation invites youngsters who’ve participated in previous foundation programs to return and continue learning horse care & barn chores in exchange for a riding lesson at the end of their volunteer shift. A win-win for all!

Ray and Al’s Lunch Room of Galien, MI has created a gourmet melted cheese sandwich in honor of Bertillino “Bert,” a beloved lesson horse that taught so many children of Spring Creek Horses Help Foundation and Spring Creek Equestrian Center lessons in kindness, perseverance, trust and patience.

Many of our program participants want to continue their equestrian education after our 5-week program ends. And so we invite them back to volunteer with our Summer Volunteer Mentor Program! Smiles all around.

experience the joy of horses.
