I will be back up and running the last week in June. My new phone number is 414-217-6620. Located in Clearwater Lake off of 45 in between 3 lakes and Eagle River. There will be no waiting period to get in at this time. The new name of my business will be Pet Grooming by Lexi. Please spread the word and feel free to give me a call to pamper you pooch or kitty.

Hello everyone, it’s me Lexi. Just want update everyone and let you all know I am healthy and back working. I am currently working at Northwoods Pets in Rhinelander, offering nail trims and ear cleaning until we expand into grooming. By October 1st construction should be complete in the grooming building next door and I will be running my business out of there. If anyone needs a nail trim or ear cleaning in the mean time please feel free to stop on in Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday between 9-5. I look forward to seeing all of you!

Millie and Tillie came to see me yesterday. They are about 25 pounds only. They are called Borderdoos. Border collie bred with a poodle.

I have groomed them before. I actually groomed them for their very first groom last summer. I will upload pics of them as small pups if I can find them.

I just want to let all of my clients know that I (Lexi) was just diagnosed with carpal tunnel in Both hands/arms. My primary thought it was tennis elbow, then I saw a specialist and he did the nerve test and found out I have carpal tunnel.

I may be rescheduling some upcoming appointments if I am in pain. The pain is not constant, it comes and goes. So I don’t know exactly which dogs I will be grooming and which dogs I won’t be grooming. If I need to reschedule an appointment, you will receive a phone call from me.

Looks like surgery will be in my near future.

This is Max.

He is my biggest golden doodle I groom.

He’s 13 years old, so he has a hard time standing for long periods. I let him sit most the time.

His feet were hand scissor without picking his foot up off the table. He’s too wobbly on three legs. So I don’t force him, I just adjust my techniques to fit the needs for each pup.

I had no before an after pics of Max, and I’ve been grooming him my whole career. I’m always crunched for time b.c he’s so big, he takes me so long. Glad I took the extra time to snap a few pics of this handsome boy!
