All the horses at our barn get turned out to beautiful grassy turnouts during the day. Every evening we bring them in to our temperature controlled barn.

KB Cutting Horses is growing and looking to add another member to our team! Located in the Gallatin Valley in SW Montana, we are looking for a responsible individual who takes pride in their work, is a self-starter, has a great attitude and is excited to work with world class cutting horses.

Some of the responsibilities are as follows:
-Loping horses
-Saddling/ Unsaddling
-Bathing/ Grooming
-Keeping the barn clean
-Cleaning tack
-Keeping trucks and trailers clean
-Making social media posts
-Preparing for and traveling to horse shows

Must be a proficient rider, however experience in the cutting industry isn’t required.

If you are looking to expand your skills with horses and learn on the job, this is a great opportunity. With this position, expect early mornings and long unpredictable hours at home and the shows. During the cutting shows, especially, expect long days in a fast paced environment as they run on a tight schedule.

-No dogs or horses of your own
-No drugs of any kind will be tolerated
-Being a team player is an absolute must

5-6 days a week. Salaried position. Pay DOE.

You will have the opportunity to ride many horses, but if you are above barn chores, this is not the job for you. This position is for someone who has a true passion for horses, attention to detail, a very positive attitude and self motivated. We have incredible horses in our barn who deserve nothing but the best attention and care.

This position is a tremendous opportunity that will provide some incredible experiences for the right person. This is a unique experience working for an NCHA trainer while traveling throughout the US to some of the most incredible facilities and shows in the world. Come join our team!

This was my first cutting horse, I called her Pepsi, and the first buckle I ever won. One of the best things you can do for your kid or for yourself as an adult, no matter what your age, is to do something that challenges you, rewards you, grows your confidence, makes you proud of yourself, gives you the time of your life all while being around people that are cheering for you and that are invested in you having fun and doing your best! That’s our barn and that’s the NCHA!

We’ve got room for more horses to join our cutting horse training program! They’ll have an indoor stall that is under the same roof as our heated indoor arena, turned out daily in their own pasture, bathed after every workout, trained 5 days per week, fresh cattle, fed twice a day, and stalls cleaned daily while they are turned out. We have an incredible facility and a world class training program for your horse. Our clients are also welcome to come out and ride or just enjoy the ranch at no additional charge.
