Calling all community members! We need you to rally for RivCo pets who are patiently waiting for their lives to change.
We continue to operate in critical overcapacity for dogs which means some kennels are housing three to four dogs designed for two. We are providing more out-of-kennel enrichment through playgroups, field trips and walks from our volunteers so they can exercise and socialize but the truth is these pets need loving families who can give them the life they deserve.
Through RivCo Rise we made a commitment to save more lives, and we are seeing progress with our save rates at 85% for dogs and 76% for cats at the end of February this year. We have over 1,000 dogs across our shelter system and many have been with us for hundreds of days. We need to make space for animals who continue to enter our shelters, and we need you to help more RivCo pets continue their journey.
All adoption fees are waived, and all adoptions include spay/neuter surgery, age-appropriate vaccinations, a microchip and an engraved ID tag. On Saturday, we are opening our doors until midnight to give more families a chance to meet amazing pets and make lifetime connections.
