36 years chasing these top predators in the freshwater systems of northern Wisconsin…Flowages, lakes and rivers, it never gets old. Almost hard to believe I’ve been hunting them for that long! Last year didn’t disappoint, clients scored first time muskies and personal bests through out the season. Thinking about all the catches, my daughters PB, several of my clients PB’s, I personally caught my heaviest musky I have ever put my hands on, not my longest, (how heavy was she?) well one can only speculate, but if I had to guess and this is only a guess, she was somewhere in the 40-45lb class! I struggled to hold her for pics and im a bigger dude. I’ll say this, I wish I had a scale on board…There were follows that didn’t commit, (fish that will leave you dreaming about them) fish that were hooked and got off that we felt and never saw, (how big was that?) It’s a long winter in the north and a mix of great memories and nightmares! lol We have several doors to knock on this next season. We will share some pics of the pbs from last year and will be at the Wisconsin Musky Expo in the LakeXLures booth March 20-22! Don’t be afraid to stop by and talk muskies with us!
