IMPORTANT: COVID-19 changes
Due to the COVID-19 national emergency, for everyone’s safety and to reduce the possible spread of COVID-19, our protocols for seeing patients has changed. The below may change at any time.
If the owner, or anyone in contact with the pet, is sick, may be sick, is in quarantine, or has been diagnosed with COVID-19, you are kindly asked to not make an appointment at this time.
If you require an appointment for a wellness exam, a routine recheck with a stable condition, or any other non-emergency condition, per the NYS Executive Order, you may not be seen at this time; but please call if you require medications or have questions.
If all in contact with the pet are healthy and an appointment is made, clients should remain in their vehicles and should not enter the building. Upon arrival to the office, please call our office at 914-674-4141. Your pet will be retrieved from your vehicle, the examination will be performed by the doctor, and your pet will be returned to you. Please note that staff may be wearing masks, gloves, and/or other personal protective equipment. You will be able to speak with the doctor, and medication instructions will be printed and discussed with you.
In order to reduce contact, the preferred method of payment will be credit card over the phone.
We have increased our cleaning frequency of the entire clinic and especially high-touch areas, which are getting disinfected many times daily. In addition, as per CDC guidelines https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/if-you-are-sick/steps-when-sick.html , sick employees are asked to not come to work but concentrate on their own health.
We look forward to the end of the COVID-19 emergency and a healthier, more stable time for all in the future.
