Did you know grass seed can cause major problems for pets?

Chester came in for limping and had a swollen toe- most likely from a grass seed or awn that got under his skin and caused a small abscess. Thankfully, he was treated and should be feeling better soon!

Not only can grass seeds and awns get under pet's skin, they can also become stuck under their eyelid or in their nose!

June is Pet Disaster Preparedness month! Do you know what to do in the event you and your pet are in a disaster situation? Here are some simple tips:

💧Make sure you have enough food and water for you and your pet on hand.

💼Keep leashes, kennels, and your pet's medications readily accessible for quick and easy access.

📸Have a picture of your pet and you on your phone and with their leash or kennel.

💉Make sure your pet is microchipped and your information is up to date.

Don't be caught unaware.

This week was full of precious pups!

Nova came in for her puppy vaccines and got a clean bill of health! Even though the needle smarts a little, it is worth it to know this sweet girl is protected against diseases like parvovirus and distemper.

Boomer came back to make sure he is fully protected from kennel cough so he can be ready for future grooming appointments. With all those luscious locks, we can't wait to see him again!

Puppies don't get all the love though. Brody came in for his annual visit and stole some kisses from the staff! We love seeing happy and healthy dogs of all ages, especially when they are as handsome as this man.

🎀🐾 Meet Billie — this beautiful little white baby who apparently thinks she’s a parrot!

This sweet girl decided the best place to perch was right on our shoulder while visiting us. 💕

Billie’s new family found her on Sunday and instantly knew she was a gift from God. While she’s been dealing with a little URI (upper respiratory infection), she went home today with a goodie bag full of helpful information for her new parents and some medication to help get her feeling back to tip-top shape soon! 🩺✨

We can already tell this tiny girl is going to be very loved. 💖

Raven and her adorable babies came in for a visit, and we are happy to report that everyone is doing great! 🖤🐾

Raven had her kittens 6 weeks and 2 days ago, and these fluffy little troublemakers are growing fast. They had a few issues with some pesky wormies (intestinal parasites), but Dr. Lamp got everybody all squared away and feeling better today! 🩺✨

Meanwhile, Reece recently took in a tiny rescue kitten. The poor little thing was NOT happy about having to hang out in “jail” while everyone else was getting attention and having fun. 😹

Needless to say, it was a very cute day around the clinic! 🐱💕

In honor of Memorial Day, our office will be closed as we pause to remember and honor the brave men, women, and service animals who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. 🇺🇸🐾

Today, we reflect with gratitude on the courage, loyalty, and dedication of all who served—both two-legged and four-legged heroes.

We hope everyone has a safe and meaningful Memorial Day with family and loved ones. ❤️🤍💙

What an amazing day last weekend for an even better cause! 🩵🐾

A huge THANK YOU to our incredible staff for volunteering their time, our amazing clients for coming out to participate, and all of our employees who joined us for the 5K benefiting The Infinity Project.

From cheering runners on, helping with registration, handing out shirts, and hitting the trail ourselves — it was such a fun event filled with teamwork, smiles, and community spirit.

We are proud to support organizations that make a difference, and we are thankful to everyone who helped make the event such a success! 💙🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️🐶
