ATTENTION ATTENTION ATTENTION !!!!!

Working out in this heat just about killed me today.... I can't even properly FUNCTION in it! I can't do that to myself again....once I get hot there's no cooling me down.... sorry clients...if you have outdoor piggies and it's going to be over 85 and if there's ANY humidity at all, I'll have to reschedule you until fall unless you can bring them inside in the AC. I got dizzy and shakey today and almost dropped my dremel twice which can lead to serious injuries to myself and your animal.. and thats WITH frequent hydration / electrolytes .Just not safe to work in this weather. Not worth the risk to ANYONE. 🔥 🥵

Hey Folks! As our busy season begins this is just a reminder that it sometimes takes us a week or two to respond to some messages. I don't have the luxury of a receptionist ( which would be AWESOME ! 😎) So returning messages are completely up to me. In addition to running Northeast Animal Care I also work a couple of days a week as a Veterinary Technician so my schedule is JAM PACKED! Texting is the fastest way to get into contact with us because I can quickly get the info and pictures I need in order to send you a quote and schedule you!!!!! 401 309 6841

********** New Policy***********

In the 20 + years that we've been trimming we have worked with some fantastic clients!! Clients that are accommodating, respectful of our time and efforts and conscientious with scheduling continued hoof care for their pigs.

Unfortunately there are instances where we have repeated and chronic cancelations with the same clients . We understand that things can happen But we often book out months in advance and when chronic cancelations are made from the same clients it is very unfair to othe clients waiting for open slots.

If a client cancels 3 times consecutively in a 12 month period they will be asked to find another hoof care provider.

Our time needs to be respected.

Thank you to all of our current AWESOME clients!!!! You guys are the absolute BEST!!!!! ❤️

This was Pits and Piggies " Rescue" in Torrington CT. Absolutely deplorable and UNACCEPTABLE conditions for ANY animal to live in!

I knew early on that the woman running this Rescue" was up to no good. She would constantly ask for monetary donations to care for the pigs, yet she had no LEGAL status as an actual non profit. People unwittingly sent this woman money thinking that it was going towards the care of these animals. CLEARLY it wasn't based on the conditions of the animals and the environment they were living in.

Too many people who claim to be a "rescue" are asking for money only to pocket it for their own benefit. DO NOT SEND MONEY to any " organization" that doesn't have legal status! Transparency is Key! Look them up first!!!!!!

HUGE thanks to Ben for helping us out today with one of the biggies!!!! " Hammie" is a 300 + pounder and one of the largest pigs we see. He's got a good set of lungs on him so I don't recommend listening at full volume ! Also, Ben gets peed on so there's that. 😆 Ahh the realities of hoof trimming.....

Folks, it's already too hot too soon 🔥 Please understand that if you have an outdoor pig that's on our trimming schedule and it's 90 degrees with humidity on top of it, you will be rescheduled. It's completely unsafe for your pig to be stressed during this type of heat and it's completely unhealthy for us to work out in it. If you do not have air conditioning in your home, your appointment may also be rescheduled due to heat and humidity. This is pretty much non negotiable. Thank you for your understanding!!!!!!

This is a courtesy post for a client of ours. Located in Attleboro Massachusetts...

At no fault of her own " Snuggles" is seeking a new home. Her parents are being forced to seek new rental housing as their landlord of many years has passed away and their home has sold. Unfortunately the new owners have decided to tear down the current building which is an apartment home, and build a single family home in its place. All tenants need to be out this summer.

They have had absolutely no luck finding another rental that will allow a pet mini pig even if they transition her outdoors.

Snuggles is a 5 year old intact female. She is VERY sweet and docile. ❤️ Her parents have done an acceptional job getting weight off of her this past year. She's lost close to 30lbs!!! She still needs to loose another 25lbs or so to be an ideal weight.

I can vouch that this piggie is a very sweet pig and would make a great piggie pet either indoor or transitioned to outdoor living. Please share!!!!! 🐷

We were happy to help " Timber" out today with an intensive trim! Also discussed a diet with her mom. We're looking forward to her 6 month follow up trim in September! ❤️
