Four years ago, Sunnie Dee Wynn had a Thoracic Posterior Spinal Fusion (10 levels) with Osteotomies at Emory! The surgery was to correct problems caused by 3 horse related accidents. It was a 12 hour surgery and she stayed in the hospital for 11 days.

If you know Sunnie, you also know that she doesn't complain much but for 4 years - she has been adamant that something was not right in her back! Each time she visited the doctor (over the past 4 years) she has told them that she is in a lot of pain!

She was told that it would develop scar tissue and she would be fine! She was advised to do physical therapy, dry needling and a host of other things but nothing worked!

Finally, someone listened and last week she returned to Emory for a second spine surgery to cut two of her titanium rods, remove a screw, a bracket and a handful of something that look like nuts!

Sunnie is home recovering now and we hope that she will be back in the saddle soon! (She has plans to be at the NRCHA Show in Ft Worth in February!)

And a shoutout to Justin Rollins! Thanks for everything you did to help Sunnie (and me) and thank you for making Sunnie a priority!
