2026: A Big Move for a Big Girl! 🎓🐾

​We have some bittersweet news to share from Field of Dream Danes. Last night, the sweet Juliet (now officially Willow) headed off to start her incredible new life!

​There couldn’t be a more perfect "match" for this girl. Willow is joining her new mom, Carly, who is literally celebrating her own graduation! Carly finished her very last veterinary clinical yesterday—talk about a whirlwind week. 🩺✨ Check out Willows graduation hat, glasses and scarf- so cute!

​The Itinerary:

​Destination 1: New York today to graduate in May.

​The Big Move: After the official graduation ceremony in May, the whole crew is heading south to Texas! 🤠

​New Bestie: Willow will be joining her new 5-year-old Great Dane sister, Ray. We just know they are going to be inseparable.

​A Special Note to Carly:

​Carly, a huge Congratulations to you on finishing vet school! We are so incredibly proud of everything you’ve accomplished, and we can’t think of a better companion to have by your side as you start your career.

​Thank you for already loving Willow so much. We are so excited to watch her grow, explore the Lone Star State, and see all the adventures you’ll have together!

​Safe travels, Willow! We love you! ❤️🐕

💙 The Hardest Part of What I Do...

​Before Romeo (now Burt Bleu) headed off to start his new life, I had to sneak in one last round of snuggles. 🐾✨ (I do this with all the babies- it's just not always recorded) 😪

​People often ask how I can let them go, and the truth is, it never gets easier! Each one of these babies carries a piece of my heart with them. But seeing the joy they bring to their new families—and knowing Burt is going to a home that already loves Great Danes—makes every goodbye worth it.

​He’s officialy an "Air Force dog" now, named after the A-10 Thunderbolt (and that famous BRRRRT sound!), and I couldn't be prouder of the big guy he’s becoming.

​Enjoy these last sweet moments with him before his family arrived. We love you, Burt Bleu! ✈️💙

🐾 Romeo is now Burt Bleu! 🐾

​We are so thrilled to announce that Romeo (now officially Burt Bleu) has found his forever home! 🏠💙

​While we’ll miss his sweet face around Field of Dream Danes, we couldn’t be happier for him. He’s staying right here in North Carolina with a wonderful new family who already knows a thing or two about the "Gentle Giant" lifestyle—Burt is joining his new big brother, Howie the Great Dane! 🐕🐕

​It never gets easier saying goodbye to these babies, but knowing they are going to such a lovely home makes it all worth it. We just know he’s going to be spoiled rotten by Lindsey Flaute ,Nick, Tanner and Wesley. Welcome to the Field of Dream Danes family!

​Since they’re local, we’re looking forward to plenty of "pupdates" as he grows. Congratulations to Burt Bleu and his new family!

​We have two absolute powerhouse boys from our Romantic Legends litter still looking for their perfect 👨‍👩‍👦! These guys were excited to be outside playing in the yard but are already showing incredible substance and temperament—perfect examples of the breed.

From North Carolina to Long Island! ✈️🍎

​We have some bittersweet news to share—the handsome Lancelot (now officially known as Nikolai) headed off to his forever home this past Saturday!

​While we miss his sweet face here at Field of Dream Danes, we couldn’t be happier for him. He is joining a wonderful couple and family in Long Island, New York, who have welcomed him with open arms. We are so incredibly grateful to have them join our extended Field of Dream Danes family!

​Reports from New York say Nikolai is transitioning perfectly and settling right into the city life. Swipe to see some of his final moments here and his first steps into his new adventure. 🐾❤️
