Before you head out, do the 5-second hand test: if it’s too hot for you, it’s too hot for them 🐾

Thomaston Animal Control is pleased to announce that BAILEY has been adopted!!!😊. Congratulations and thanks to her new owners on giving our Bailey girl her new forever home. Also many thanks to those who helped spread the word and provided food for Bailey while in our care❤️😊

Introducing “Bailey”

Bailey…a female Dutch shepherd mix is approximately 2 years old. She has been in our care at our shelter for about a month due to an unfortunate circumstance with her previous owner not being able to care for her😢. When Bailey first came to us she was very scared and guarded. But now she knows we won’t let her down😊. PLEASE FRIENDS …help share and spread the word so we can find Bailey girl the loving home that she desperately deserves!!🙏🏻

HEY GERMAN SHEPHERD LOVERS!!!! GO MEET NOBLE TODAY! YES! TODAY! THE NEW BRITAIN SHELTER WILL BE WELCOMING VISITORS TO THEIR OPEN ADOPTION HOURS TODAY FROM 3 TO 6 pm!!!!! (y)

Noble is a gorgeous young German Shepherd boy who is very, very handsome. He's a loyal fella and he likes other dogs, so a home with a doggy sibling might be just the thing! His adopter should be an experienced German shepherd owner. ❤

As noted, you can go meet him in person on Wednesdays at the shelter's Open Adoption Hours from 3 to 6 pm — and Saturdays at the shelter's Open Adoption Hours from 10 am to 1 pm.! (Y)

Located today a deceased intact male pit bull. Brown and white age unknown. Located in the area of 1252 Waterbury Rd. Dog appears to have been struck by a car. If you have any information on this dog please contact Thomaston ACO at 860 283 4343.
