We will be closed July 1 - 31, 2026. My nephew, Bryant Maloney, is graduating from The University of Glasgow, School of Veterinary Medicine in Scotland. I will be attending his graduation ceremony on July 7, then spending some time touring Scotland and traveling to Sweden to visit several cousins. No pets will be seen for medical or surgical needs in my absence. Lauren Baird will be answering the phone, dispensing prescription medications and scheduling appointments for my return in August 2026. She will be available Monday through Thursday 9 am until 2 pm. If she doesn't answer the phone during that time, leave a voice mail message and she will return your call. There is only 1 phone line and she may be assisting another client. If your pet has a medical emergency while I am away, please contact another local veterinarian or the Midcoast Animal Emergency Clinic in Warren, Maine @ (207) 273-1100. Sorry for the inconvenience, but this event is very special! 🐾

FREE composed horse manure available in Thomaston, Maine. Composed pile contains horse manure, hay and pine shavings. No machinery available to load your vehicle. Bring tubs, buckets, shovels and load as much as you want, free of charge. Arrival times by appointment only; please do not just "show up" unannounced. Call (207) 557-5669 to schedule an arrival time on Monday through Thursday 8:30 am to 5 pm. Directions available by phone. No weekend times available.
