🍬🍫National Chocolate day🍫🍬

Halloween is creeping up fast and while it’s the perfect time for us to indulge, it’s definitely not so safe for our furry friends. It’s important to keep all candy and chocolate safetly out of paw’s reach (no matter how convincing those puppy eyes are!). Even a small amount of chocolate can cause serious symptoms in dogs.
So what should you do if your dog eats chocolate?
If you think your pup may have gotten into any chocolate/candy, call your veterinarian or an emergency animal hospital right away. Acting quickly can make all the difference!

We often hear about the wide variety of dog breeds, but cat breeds don’t get nearly as much attention. This is partly because cats were domesticated much later than dogs and exhibit less genetic variation. While the American Kennel Club recognizes over 200 dog breeds, the Cat Fanciers” Association only recognizes around 45 cat breeds.
One of these unique breeds is the Havana Brown. Meet Maeve the very sweet Havana Brown! This striking cat is known for her rich, chocolate-brown fur and vivid green eyes. But the Havana Brown isn’t just about looks-she’s also beloved for her intelligence, curious nature, and well-balanced temperament. Not too wild, yet not overly docile, the Havana Brown makes an ideal family companion. ❤️🐈🐈‍⬛

This week we spend thanking our staff for all their hard work and dedication. We could not be more thankful to have a staff full of overwhelmingly passionate vet techs that treat every patient and client like family.
We may be biased, but we truly have the best staff with the biggest hearts. Every day they come in with no idea what the day will bring, and unfortunately days are not always easy. Whether your pet is here for a yearly checkup or an emergency, our techs give everything they have to provide the best care possible❤️
