Hello Thomaston. It’s that time of year again. June is dog licensing month. All dogs older than 6 months are required to be licensed. The 2025 license expires on June 30.

Thomaston Animal Control has this intact male Dachshund in our facility. He spent two days avoiding capture on Waterbury Road and was trapped last evening. He only had a flea collar on him and he does not have a microchip. If you know where he belongs please contact Animal Control at the Police Department at 860-283-4343

Lacey is settling quite nicely into Army’s Legacy Animal Rescue And Sanctuary, Inc.

Thomaston Animal Control would like to announce Lacey (the name we gave her) is soon to be a proud mother of 9. We want to thank Army’s Legacy Animal Rescue And Sanctuary, Inc. for agreeing to foster her and her litter of pups. They will be accepting donations to help offset the cost. Lacey is the girl that was found near Route 8 last week.
