Are you, or someone you know, an experienced dog groomer with a passion for high-quality care and a love for pups? We’re looking for a full-time groomer to join our small, close-knit team serving Mequon, WI and surrounding areas.

What We Offer:

-50% commission + 100% of your tips (W-2 employee)
-Flexible schedule
-PTO eligibility after 1 year
-Simple IRA with up to 3% match
-Continuing education and professional support (seminars, trade shows, mentoring, certifications)
-Free use of salon and products for your own dogs
-One-on-one grooming appointments

I would like to take a minute to tell you a little more about the products that we use here at Two Tails Grooming Salon.

We exclusively use Iv San Bernard Products. These products originate from Italy, and the USA branch is owned by Cliff Favor, DVM.

After trying out different products in the industry, I knew right away that I only wanted to use Iv San Bernard on the dogs that came into our care. Dr. Cliff Favor and Iv San Bernard have created a mission of educating veterinarians and groomers on the science of the skin and coat and explaining how their products truly benefit the dog. The most important aspect is the use of conditioner during every bath, specifically a conditioner that is both an emollient and a humectant.

This is an excerpt from the ISB website on the importance of a conditioner:

"The Importance of Using Conditioner with Shampoo -
If you are purchasing shampoo without conditioner, we strongly urge you to think again and add conditioner to your cart and here is why:

At Iv San Bernard, we cannot stress the importance of using conditioner enough. Although our shampoo is extremely gentle and high in quality, with the lack of conditioning, you will miss the true glory of our products. The shampoo and conditioner work hand in hand to provide a successful and thorough bathing experience.

Hair has “plaques” which are like petals on a flower. When the hair is hydrated and covered with sebum, the plaques lay flat and smooth. If the sebum is removed by harsh shampoos or not replaced by a conditioner after shampooing, these plaques open up like a Christmas tree. When that happens, the hair tends to matt, dulls in color, dehydrates, and no longer protects skin properly.

This is one of the reasons why conditioners should always be used after shampooing. You wouldn’t just shampoo and not condition you own hair, would you? Applying a good hydrating conditioner and using correct grooming techniques will help maintain a healthy beautiful hair shaft."

On top of that, Iv San Bernard just became the very first cosmetic/grooming aid product line to be certified by the Safe Pet Cosmetic program. All the more reason why these products are the obvious choice.
