Green Acres Boxer Rescue of WI GABR is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that's been active since 1999. To date, we have helped over 1000 Boxers! (DS-266916)

Green Acres Boxer Rescue of WI takes in Boxers in need and finds them new homes. We cover the state of Wisconsin and the UP of Michigan. We place about 20 dogs annually and to date, we have helped over 1000 Boxers! "Add a Little Character to Your Life!"

Message from Owner: Hi. He got away. Scared of cars. Never been out in Wisconsin overnight. Had on a red collar. 3 short white socks and one taller one. Help please.

For a quarter century, Green Acres Boxer Rescue has served the dogs and people of Wisconsin. We are proud of the work we've done, having helped hundreds of dogs in need and connecting them with fellow Boxer lovers all over the state. We are so grateful to our adopters - some of whom have come back to us multiple times for a new smooshy-faced friend. We are grateful to the donors who kept us afloat over the years. And of course we cannot forget our volunteers. Some did paperwork behind the scenes. Some worked tirelessly at the Boxer Bashes. Some endured chewed chair legs and other creative interior design projects from their fosters. Some held sick pups and made hard decisions. Some trained the "untrainable." Some did all of these things and more.

While our collective love of Boxers remains, GABR has run its course and will wind down this year. We encourage you to lend your support to other rescues and shelters - they'd surely love your help. Remember us fondly and know that your support has meant the world to us!
