We had some full bellies today after Cindy with Just Cats Rescue brought us this yummy treat tray assortment and Holly & Joe with Just Cats Rescue brought us pizzas and snacks for lunch!

Another adoption update which I totally love! šŸ˜»
This baby was adopted by someone and her then boyfriend. They both passed all my strict adoption requirements. Didnā€™t realize the POS woman changed men like I change my drawers . She abandoned her 2 cats in carriers on a day when we had 29 degree weather, when her man abandoned her . (like I wouldnā€™t remember my own cats.) Well thank goodness her true Furever family came along to adopt her . They had adopted from me before . This girl has moved with the family and she will never be abandoned again. Sheā€™s a queen as she should be. Thanks Tricia for the update. These updates make my heart so happy. I know how loved my babies are.

Look at this gorgeous child. This is GODSMACK ! Is he stunning or what? ( Heā€™s not in a cage , heā€™s sitting in a catio) . Semi feral and most days we can pet him. From the looks of it today just wasnā€™t one of those days LOL. Heā€™s non adoptable but is a sanctuary cat so his life is good.

Tonight we had our annual ā€œ thank you supperā€ for Just Cats Volunteers. We had so much fun talking , laughing & cutting up ( not me of course) we forgot to take a picture. Soooo we met up at Caraā€™s for a quick pic. Dana Hukins Rodrigue , Julia Dempster and Mary Domangue were already home . So we had pics of Dana & Julia (none of MaryšŸ˜æ) to add in . We are a small group but we take care of literally hundreds cats each day. We are fierce!

This boy here! From the streets where no one wanted him to this . King of the homestead for sure. His adoptive mommy & daddy saw him and it was instant love . He loves wearing his sweater on chilly days. Clarence formerly known as Yellowstone . And this is why Iā€™m so strict on my adoptions.

I love adoption updates: This cat came to cattery after a 38 cat shelter pull on kill day. She came with a litter of kittens and we noticed she had no idea what to do with them. We realized SHE WAS STILL A KITTEN HERSELF! She was so scared and so shy but a loving family saw in her what we saw . Sheā€™s been living the life of a kitten free queen with The Melancon family ever sense. Iā€™m a strict adopter for a reason. Sweet Lily !

STALLION has gotten so big ! Funny what Patience, a Loving Safe Environment and food and clean water will do. No more shooing him out of yards, throwing things at him to get out of yards. No more harm coming to him. Heā€™s wishing for a furever family for Christmas.
