It’s 5:30 AM and As I drive our son to the airport (Asa’s stepson) to return to the USMA-West Point, on our beautiful Nations birthday, it drives home what it costs for the freedom we have. My hair is uncovered, i’m wearing shorts and I’m posting on social media. Something many women all over the world are not allowed. Our troops all over the world are not with their families today. For something so big but also as simple as a woman being able to wear shorts.

On Americas Birthday we are so very grateful for the freedoms we enjoy and honor the sacrifices so many have made and will continue to make for those freedoms.
