Couple new changes for 2026...

We will ONLY be approving ONE EVENT, per calendar date. In the event that we have two events nominated for the same day, we will ONLY be approving ONE for the WBRT Tour.

With our larger events with 200 + entries in the Open, we will be awarding WBRT points off a side-pot. You will be REQUIRED to fill out the Jotform PRIOR to the event date to be eligible for points. There will never be an additional entry fee, but at these big races will will be able to award more points to all WBRT members. The side-pot points will be for every division (Open - Futurity - Derby - Youth - Senior).

As requested, we will have a youth nomination again this year. Last year we only had 5 youth nominated, lets get more youth involved in this program, they are the future of our sport.

The 2026 season will be from February 1, 2026 through *October 31, 2026. We believe shortening the season just a little will help accommodate everyone especially with travel.
*Our finals race will be determined closer to the end of the season, and then an award banquet will be arranged in hopes that a majority of people can attend and have fun!

We are excited to see what 2026 will bring for barrel racing in Wyoming. Please tag your producer, message us if you have any question and don't forget nominations open January 1, 2026!

WYOMING BARREL RACING TOUR

With the unexpected twist to this weekend's finals, we want to clarify a few key points regarding prize distribution, especially concerning tied scores.

1. In the event of a tie between two participants:
- If only one person can attend the banquet, that individual will have the first choice of prizes, while the other will automatically receive the second prize.
- If both tied participants are present, we will hold a short foot race to determine who will select their prize first. We felt this was a more engaging option than simply flipping a coin!

2. Attendance: We encourage all of you to join us on Saturday, as every WBRT member who attends the banquet will receive a swag bag full of goodies! However, we understand that some may not be able to make it. If you are unable to attend and have won a prize, you will have two weeks to arrange for pickup or pay for shipping to receive your item.

3. Unclaimed Prizes: Any prizes that remain unclaimed after the two-week period will be added to next year's prize pool.

We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible on Saturday. Thank you for your understanding and participation!

We are excited to announce that the venue is set and preparations are underway for our FIRST WBRT awards!

Please join us this Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 5 PM at the Riverton Elks Lodge on Main Street in Riverton, Wyoming. A big thank you to Sammi Hegward for generously providing pizza to keep everyone satisfied! Shaylee Farrell has worked tirelessly to secure the venue and has kindly donated the venue cost through her business, Diamonds and Twine.

Don't forget to check out our previous posts regarding any ties in points and how the payouts will be managed. We look forward to seeing you on Saturday evening for pizza, a cash bar, laughter, and much more!

Don't forget for Saturdays race there is a dress code!!! Either long sleeve and cowboy hat or Wyoming Barrel Racing Tour merchandise. Missy Muellerleile will have some with her she has a limited supply.

I’ve had lots of messages about the merch for finals.
Don’t worry, I have made a LIMITED supply of extras that will be on hand. I have sweatshirts, T-shirts, long sleeves, and hats that will be available first come first serve at finals.

Here we are 5 days until the WBRT Finals on Sat and Sun open jackpot. We welcome everyone to come participate and have fun. We will start with time onlys at 10 am Sharp until 11:30. Race starts at 12 pm with Peewee's then go straight into Open, Seniors, Youth, Futurity, and Derby. This is a Dash and Do Over race where we will take your fastest run. Anyone needing stalls/pens and or hook-ups message me here or text me 307-231-1385. Hope to see everyone safe travels!!!
