Not my usual post…I have a blue bird that has nested inside my birdhouse! I love watching her bring food and you can barely see the little chicks stretching their necks to eat. Spring/summer is such a beautiful time of year. My garden is full of tomatoes, flowers are blooming, bees are buzzing.

I especially love taking dogs on walks and watching them take it all in. Nature is so beautiful.

When your dog is reactive, one of the best things you can do is relax and keep your leash nice and loose.

Dogs read our emotions incredibly well, and they can feel tension through the leash. When we tighten up, hold our breath, or get anxious, our dogs often do too.

The calmer and more relaxed you are, the better chance your dog has to settle and work through the situation calmly with you. 🐾
