Great day at BHSA Classic yesterday- all of our riders were either Champion or Reserve in their divisions, in some good sized classes!

Lindsay - Reserve Champion Limit Rider with Beau
Olivia - Reserve Champion Low Jumper with Zulla
Rachel - Champion Low Hunter with Sam

It was a very long day but a good one! Thank you to BHSA for a well run show!

Camp's a wrap! What an awesome July it has been. Gigantic thanks to our camp directors Bea VanSant and Rachel Michael, who gave the campers a summer to remember! From making sure everyone was well fed and hydrated, to teaching cool skills like making their own riding belts and bridle charms, you two absolutely rock!

Thanks also to our day camp helpers Olivia and Amelia. You were both so wonderful at guiding the young campers and we were so happy and grateful you were there.

- to Sarah Brown for teaching the campers sidesaddle
- to Larkin's for teaching them about tack repairs and tack maintenance
- to Jamie Wilm for teaching them how to gently and effectively stretch their horses and how the human and horse skeletons compare
- to Lili Alexander and Anne Wray Allen for hosting them at Sunset Polo in their box
- to the people who donated saddles for us to "disect"
- to Tyler Burdick of Burdick Equine for explaining the science behind the treatment he was giving
- to Hubert Davy for showing the campers the inside of a horse's mouth and talking about dental care
And massive thanks to Kimberly Green for the use of Gone Away House!

Thanks to you all the campers had an amazing time and made some amazing memories!

Wow we had a great show at Beverly Equestrian this past Sunday. Yes, the results were good, but the fact is that everyone rode extremely well and the horses went fantastic! Both Bonnie and Lindsay had the best rounds I've ever seen them do! Ashley gave B-Girl a confidence building couple of rounds that means she can move up in height at the next show, and Olivia looked great stepping round the .8 with Zulla.

Congrats to Bonnie on her first Reserve Championship, and Lindsay, Champion in the Limit Hunters!

Camp is in full swing here at Middleburg Riding! Shout out to our amazing Camp directors, Bea VanSant and Rachael Michael, who have kept the campers hydrated, well fed and rested. Not only have they been amazing house mothers, they have taught the campers riding, stable management, and the most amazing crafts - campers made bridle charms and their own riding belts, among others!

Plus a huge thanks to the specialists who shared their knowledge with the campers:
- Larkin's tack repair shop showed us their machines, different kinds of leather, and talked about maintenance of tack
- Jamie Wilm, the osteo who keeps our horses in form, showed the campers the correlations between the human and horse skeletons and taught them how to do gentle stretches for their horse
- Sarah Brown brought her sidesaddles and all the kids got to sit in one, then see her demo. Sarah donned her gorgeous formal sidesaddle attire for them and walked them through the intricacies of proper turnout

Giant thanks and shout out to Kimberly Green for the use of Gone Away House! Campers have loved every minute of their stay there!

We still have space for our two weeks of Mounted Games day camps at Middleburg Riding! Come out and join us for some fun in the sun with ponies, crafts, and some amazing demonstrations! We run 9:00-3:00 PM for ages 6-14 from July 20th-24th and July 27th-31st. Sign ups are open on middleburgriding.com/camps!

The campers sure will be well fed!
Camp leaders Bea and Rachel show off a small portion of their shopping in preparation for our Overnight camp that starts tomorrow! Lots of prep goes into making these couple of weeks special for the kids. Shout out to Kimberly Green, you are amazing. Thank you for helping make this an awesome couple of weeks!

A great start to our month of camp! It was preschoolers week and included:
* safety around Ponies
* leading then riding through an obstacle course
* a berry picking trail ride in the woods
* a "pie" eating contest between Ponies
