This is always a bittersweet time of year for us. The current interns graduate and we have a new group joining us this week.
We're very happy that Drs. Claire Long and Andrea Lindgren will be staying on with us as Fellows! Drs. Aili Arnell, Sophia Grant-Counard and Ashlyn Rustin are all moving on to very exciting jobs and we wish them all the best- they have very promising futures ahead of them.
Congratulations to Dr. Ava Capper who has finished her Fellowship year and will stay on with us as an Associate!
Talia Caristoui, who has been a Vet Assistant for several years, is also sadly leaving but she's realizing her dream and going to vet school at Colorado State.
We wish all of them the best in their careers!

Dr. Ava Capper’s fellowship year may be coming to a close, but we’re pleased to announce that she will be staying on at the practice as an associate. Dr. Capper graduated from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine and completed a hospital internship at Rood & Riddle in Lexington, Kentucky before moving to Virginia. She then joined Piedmont for a year-long internship followed by a second year with the practice for a fellowship. Thank you for all your hard work, Dr. Capper. We’re glad to have you on the team!
