We’ve been made aware that kennel cough/Bordetella is currently making its rounds in the Texarkana area, and we wanted to share a quick reminder with our daycare families.
If your dog is coughing or showing signs of respiratory illness, please keep them home, monitor their symptoms, and contact your veterinarian if symptoms persist or worsen.
As always, we closely monitor every dog in our care. If a dog begins coughing while at daycare, they are immediately separated from the group and placed in quarantine, and their parents are promptly notified.
Please rest assured that we continue to take the same precautions we always do to help maintain a clean, healthy environment for our guests. Our facility is equipped with an air purification system integrated into our HVAC system, and we continue our regular cleaning and sterilization protocols throughout the daycare and between guests.
