**Experience required** TVC is looking for reliable, hardworking individuals that love animals! Pay is based on experience and will be determined at time of job offer.. Must be available to work Mon-Fri 7:15am to 5:30pm
Job requirements... But not limited to…
• Ensuring treatment areas, exam rooms, hospital areas, and laboratories are clean and organized.
• Prepare prescriptions as ordered by the doctor: Appropriate container, labeling, directions, and warnings.
• Sterilizing equipment.
• Restraining irritable, angry patients appropriately and safely where required.
• Computer Operation
• Assisting with administering medication and drawing blood
• Helping clients with their pets while in the waiting room and cleaning up after pets if accidents occur
• Identify and work compassionately with clients in various emotional states.
• Assist with appointments daily
• Work patiently with distressed, frustrated or disgruntled animals.
• Performing diagnostic imaging and laboratory tests.
• Liaising with veterinarians and veterinary technicians to ensure continuity of patient care.
• Complying with hospital standards, rules, regulations, and policies.
• Maintaining medical records.

On Sept. 12, the Town of Sunnyvale received a positive rabies test from a captured skunk at Sunnyvale High School.

We urge citizens and pet owners to be cautious around wildlife and keep their distance. It is also vital that your pets receive the rabies vaccine to ensure their safety and your safety if they encounter an animal with rabies.

Rabies is a deadly viral disease transmitted to humans from infected animals, typically through a bite or scratch. While infected animals may sometimes be aggressive, they may also exhibit other behaviors. Look for signs of fearfulness, aggression, staggering, paralysis, seizures or drooling more than normal.

If you spot a wild animal that appears to have rabies symptoms, keep a safe distance and contact animal control at (214) 862-4525.

• Over the counter sales
• Computer Operation- Avimark is a plus but not required
• Financial transactions
• Helping clients with their pets while in the waiting room and cleaning up after pets if accidents occur
• Identify and work compassionately with clients in various emotional states.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in work areas
• Perform inventory of reception area
• Assist with appointments daily
• Work patiently with distressed, frustrated or disgruntled clients.
• Counseling clients on animal health care including nutrition and home care
• Maintain proper documentation in the electronic medical record

TAA ANGEL TREE IS HERE!
It’s Christmas in July here at The Terrell Veterinary Center!
Terrell Animal Alliance has a tree filled with pets that could use our help! Come pick a Fur-Baby (Angel) off the tree to donate to. Each card has a cute pet with “would likes” on the back. You are also free to ad to that list. Please have all donations dropped off at Terrell Veterinary Center no later than Tuesday July 29th. If you are unable to pick a pet you may also donate to Venmo .
