Went to our amazing vet today and had her first progesterone test done. She's currently at 3.0ng/ml. This means she's getting close to ready and we will be coming back Wednesday morning for another blood pull. She did fabulous for the tech and her favorite Dr. 💜. She might be ready around Friday-Saturday for her date with Mercury. This puts us very tentatively around the second to third week of August for due date

Eye balls are all good for another year for Nix. Everest had his very first done passing with flying colors and he did super duper even with a b***h in standing heat basically right under his nose 😅. The doctor and tech loved them both but especially Everest and his silly personality. I'll get these submitted by tonight so they should pop up on OFA in the next week or so.

Went shopping with a friend yesterday to celebrate our birthdays and got a load of goodies at a bunch of different shops...

Went shopping with a friend yesterday to celebrate our birthdays and got a load of goodies at a bunch of different shops. The toys at our pet smart were buy 3 get 1 free and I've not seen those colors of holee rollers before so I stocked up for the babies! My office where they will be whelped is just about finished we just need to hang drywall, paint, floor, and trim and it'll be done and I'll post before and after pictures of course. Such a rewarding project I've been able to help my amazing hubby with.

Little man was excellent at scentwork class last night! We did our first outdoor search and he did pretty great working through all the distractions from other businesses, cars, and people dumping stuff in dumpsters. Once he realized we were still playing sniffy games he was right on it. The method our trainer uses is a scent cocktail and pairing for those sniffy friends that are curious. It's been working very well so far. Around week 5 she thinks they should be ready to single out odor.

Busy day yesterday! Helped my hubby prepare for his buddies to come over and play Warhammer then off we went to our hospital visit. Then on the way back into town I changed out pups and drove up to Indy Raw to grab Everest's new large sized ruffland. Got some other goodies for the pups too. Various flavors of goat milk, some raw for Evee, pig snout chews, goose neck, rabbit ears, new 2:1 slow feed lick mat, and Everest new tug reward toy. Then after bathing the partis I ran to grab pizza for the guys and there was a double rainbow over my home 💜. Everest loves his new bowl and his new topper!

Everest and I went on a hike today 💚 we saw all sorts of critters which he is very intrigued by.

And another! Today we visited a hospital and he did really well. We are still learning that all pups will eventually get pet but really very proud of him for working through his frustration. Then we had scent work class and goodness he is hot on it! Homework is easy this week so I'll post a video later with us doing it. Love my versatile little man 💚

Tonight we had our first therapy visit as a certified team! So very proud of him for working through another team that was struggling keeping their dog under control and Everest just looked at me like "okay but now what are we doing?". I think we visited somewhere around 20-26 residents tonight and each one stated how much they love him and can't wait for us to come back. One gal had said she was really starting to lose hope and seeing him being so happy to see her brought her a lot of joy. Nursing home visits are a bit more of a mental toll on me but Everest really does enjoy them.
