Founded in 2021, Life with Reef was inspired by our amazing rescue dog Reef! We are advocates & supporters of all rescue and shelter dogs. THE LWR RESCUE FUND!

Dog walking & petsitting exclusively in Tequesta Fl 🏝️🐶licensed & insured- We give back to Rescues

🐾🐾🛟Follow our mission to help PBCACC Shelter dogs at & Our sole mission is to help spread awareness against animal abuse, to help end Breed-specific legislation, to raise funds for shelter dogs, and to educate others on breed bias that square heads face daily. We are also a family serving the Tequesta/Jupiter area for dog walking and educating on the proper handling of dogs. Life with Reef hopes to inspire the community to make a difference by helping dogs in need. Together, we can help so many of those dogs! Through our fundraisers & Your purchase from Life with Reef, we help support shelter dogs & rescue organizations with their life saving measures. We help these Organizations with transportation, adoptions, food and shelter, medical needs, blankets, toys, and whatever we can to help dogs in need. We are proud to be registered with the state of Florida as a charitable business! I created this fund to help dogs in need even more! With your donations we can help pay dogs medical bills, sponsor adoption fees, do freedom rides to get dogs from kill shelters to their rescues, visit dogs in the hospital and bring them warm blankets, toys and treats while smothering them with love, and more! Follow our IG or visit our website and click "DOGS WE HELPED" To see all the wonderful things your donations and purchases help us do! VENMO (SUBJECT RESCUE FUND)

🎃🐾 HALLOWEEN IS FUN FOR US… BUT NOT ALWAYS FOR OUR DOGS! 👻

Before the trick-or-treaters arrive, let’s keep our dogs SAFE and STRESS-FREE!

🍫 CANDY IS NOT FOR DOGS!
Chocolate, xylitol, and candy wrappers can be dangerous. Keep everything out of reach!

🚪 SECURE THOSE DOORS!
With visitors constantly coming and going, the risk of your dog escaping increases!

🐕 REACTIVE DOGS & MULTI-DOG HOUSEHOLDS — LISTEN UP!

Constant doorbells, knocking, barking at windows, and strangers approaching can create a VERY stressful environment!

⚠️ REDIRECTED AGGRESSION IS REAL!
When dogs become overly aroused or frustrated, that excitement can sometimes be redirected toward another dog in the household. What started as Halloween fun can quickly become dangerous!

And let’s face it… it’s stressful for US, too!

🧡 SET EVERYONE UP FOR SUCCESS!

🐾 Silence the doorbell! Put up a sign asking visitors NOT to knock or ring.

🐾 Leave a bowl of candy outside with a friendly sign.

🐾 Create a quiet space with enrichment, frozen Kongs, or favorite chews.

🐾 Separate dogs if they’re prone to redirection or conflict.

🐾 Close blinds and play background music to reduce triggers.

🐾 Get walks and potty breaks done BEFORE the neighborhood gets busy.

🐾 When you’re done, TURN OFF THE PORCH LIGHT! Don’t invite more visitors.

👻 COSTUMES ARE OPTIONAL!
If your dog isn’t comfortable, skip it!

🎃 REMEMBER!
Your dog doesn’t need to participate in Halloween to have a HAPPY Halloween!

MANAGEMENT ISN’T EXCLUDING YOUR DOG. IT’S PROTECTING THEIR PEACE AND KEEPING EVERYONE SAFE! 🐾

Happy HOWL-O-WEEN from Life With Reef! 🎃
