Well the time has come.. we have been breeding goldens for 25 years now. It has been our joy and pleasure to be able to provide these wonderful family pets to so many people. I can not remember a bad experience. You all have been wonderful to our family and our dogs. We are very grateful to you all! We started out with our beloved Buddy boy who was given to me by an older couple who could no longer take care of him. He was big and beautiful and reminded me of a lion. He never left our girls side while they were out on there horses. He insisted he go with them even in his old age till one day he didnt come back when they returned home. We were so worried. He eventually showed up and fell asleep and never woke up. We were broken but so happy we had kept a male from his last litter, Sammy boy. He brought us many healthy pups and was full of energy till the day he died at almost 15 years old! He is buried next to his dad and Lilah on the property. This bloodline was top line and produced the best pups for many years thanks to Lucy, Lilah, Luna, Shawnee, River and Catalina. After Sam we have Dagger. He is such a sweet big boy. He got sick a little over a year ago after his vaccinations. In fact, he almost died. So we have been doing all we can to help him. We don't feel right about continuing to breed him. So going forward we have a decision to make and that is to purchase another male. Having 2 males on the property is not fun.. so we have decided to retire Dagger and the girls that we have and leave it for now or even forever. We as a family feel this is the right thing to do for our dogs and our family. The girls are in heat at the moment and we have tried to keep them apart but we have been out of town and they have been under the care of someone else, so we may have a surprise litter. I will keep you all updated on that. I know some of you have expressed wanting an older dog because you didnt want to go thought the puppy stage. If you are interested please message me privately.
