Idgy

This girl was brought to us when her mother moved out of her house and turned her loose on the street to fend for herself.

Idgy is such a sweet girl. She is quiet and clean in her kennel.
She does like to play rough at times, but can also be a gentle player.

She is fully vetted, microchipped, spayed, vaccinated, dewormed and ready for her own forever home.

Hera passed away last night, one day shy of her 3 month post surgery.

She will be greatly missed.

This, friends, is our new Pet Resource Center where we will offer our community affordable spay, neuter, wellness services, preventative medications, and pet safety net services such as a pet food co-op 🤩🥂✨🙌🏼🐾

There are a seemingly endless number of things to do, but we hope you will celebrate with us as so, so many of you played a critical role in helping us get here. 🧡🎉

We’re still trying to settle on a fitting name for the clinic (shoot us your suggestions because “Human-Animal Support Coalition” doesnt exactly roll off the tongue 😜 !). We will also be getting a ton of things buttoned up while starting to build our team of paid staff.

We are still looking for HQHVSN vets if you know a great high-volume vet who wants to help shape change in our community 👩‍⚕️🩺 Full-time, relief work - yes to all!

We’ll still be hosting our spay/neuter clinic on December 9th/10th at the VFW in Temple, but sure hope to have the January clinic in our very own building in Temple. 🏠 🐈 🐕

And please excuse any delayed responses to messages or emails. December was supoosed to be a month to rest and regroup, but some fantastic opportunities presented themselves so our overtime has been working overtime 😅😴

Plus, we have a big ‘ol announcement we’ll be making soon 🤫 and we can’t wait to share!

This girl is the large of the three puppies. She is 4 months old and has gained 10 # so far during her stay. Sometimes it is tough to kill all the parasites so these puppies can start to thrive.

Jessie has a quieter mind then her sister. She is also much more meticulous in practicing smelling exercises.

She has had 2 DAPPV vaccinations, Rabies, Microchipped and dewormed multiple times.

Jessie will be ready for her forever home the middle of next week.

Bo Peep

It feels like it has been forever for these three puppies to get healthy when in reality it hasn't been.

Bo Peep is smaller than her sister. She is a little more all over the place and can't wait to learn.

She has gained right at 6 # and has been microchipped, dewormed, first two DAPPV vaccinations and rabies.
