We are a training business that takes away from the cookie cutter training aspect. Bella (15) and Sweet tea (3.5yr old) at their first in hand horsemanship show. Sweet tea spends intermittent training sessions with Laci Sullivan and the confidence that Bella gets is so amazing to watch. Her goal for him is barrel racing and we hope to start taking him to exhibitions in 2026.

The Colts have been crushing it lately — growing, learning, and showing off all their hard work! We’re so proud of this crew.

👋 Welcome Deja! Here for a little refresher and already shining.
🌿 Maple is on her slim-down vacation — taking it easy but looking fantastic!
🎓 Trigger has officially graduated! We’re so proud to send him off ready for his next adventure.
💫 Grace is making wonderful strides toward becoming a productive member of society — we love seeing her progress.
🔍 And Faith is figuring out the ropes, one step at a time — we see you learning, girl!

More pony introductions! Deja is a 8 or 9 yr old brown mare with white star and snip who is here for a tune up- She is owned by Robin. Rip is a permanent resident here and specializes in Roping, he is trained in heading and healing- He is owned by Zach. Maple is a 4yr old mare who blends in with the arena sand, she is here for a slim down (she surpassed her winter storage capacity), she is also a roping/sorting horse - owned by Kelly. Last but not least, the awesome Mr. Perky, I caught him taking a nap this evening, he is an 18 yr old seal bay gelding who is also a permanent resident here. He excels in Barrels - owned by Emily.

*We are in full swing at the barn for tune ups and preparing for the winter months. Looks like we might get some needed rain this weekend! Stay safe

Time to meet some of the full time residents of LRS:

I caught Faith taking her afternoon nap- She is a 2yr old, mare, owned by Matt, who is very curious and loves scratches and cookies.

Most you know Lilly, owned by Laci and she is a 14yr old mare, she is enjoying her time on the new Equivibe. She is a granddaughter of Corona Cartel, and had some set backs but is coming back strong with barrels.

LRS Performance is growing! Led by a young, talented, motivated individual that most of you know by the name of Laci, she is not only fulfilling her dreams but also everyone's at the barn. From people who want to learn to ride, have fun riding, to those with a competitive drive and need for speed (yes I'm talking about those barrel racers).

This summer, she has also been focusing on c**t training, so many babies (we will introduce them individually in the upcoming weeks).

I can feel those cooler temps coming, so lets get ready for more time in the saddle. Don't forget if you have questions or orders for Formula 1, please reach out.

My name is Kelly, I'm a new admin for LRS and look forward to helping keep ya'll updated with all the things going on at the barn and the events we are participating at in the community!

I did not know a horse could bring people into your life that end up meaning the most to you.
I did not know a horse could make the hardest days of your life bearable.
I did not know a horse could teach you to put others first.
I did not know a horse could remind you time and time again that your gut is always right.
I did not know a horse could break your heart.
I did not know a horse could pick you up when you have fallen apart.
I did not know a horse could teach you to dream again, after you thought it was not possible.
