Today we’re doing something a little different… instead of Member Monday, we’re ending the week by celebrating a special boy who means the world to us!

Everyone we’d love to introduce you to Gus! This sweet boy has been with us since he was a small puppy, growing up right here with his daycare family! We’ve watched him learn, make friends, be his goofiest self, master the roll over, and of course he has perfected his warm hugs for all staff!

We learned that Gus will be moving away, and even though the news was sudden, our love for him definitely isn’t! So today, we’re sending him off in the biggest and warmest way possible!

Gus, thank you for filling our days with laughs, cuddles, and chaos of the best kind! You will always be apart of our pack, no matter how far you travel! We’re going to miss you SOOOOOOO much! But we know you’ll love the new adventure and you’ll probably friend new besties who will love you just as much as we did!

There’s just something about a good day with the pack that brings out everyone’s best smile! We’re pretty sure they’re all ready for round two tomorrow. 🐶💛

Each day the dogs will be able to sniff something new, explore what they enjoy , and of course have fun while doing it!

🐾 Our Chandler Beginner Classes start this month — the Saturday, 11/15 class has 3 spots left, and our Friday, 11/14 evening class is one-third full.

🐾When Bo first joined our pack, this sweet puppy boy was a little shy! He would watch the fun from the sidelines with his big curious eyes 👀 . But with a little time and a lot of encouragement, Bo’s confidence began to shine!

Now, he’s one of the most playful pups in the pack! Bo loves to greet other when they’re coming in for daycare! He loves to show us on a daily basis how silly and goofy he can be! His lovable personality has melted everyone’s hearts, dogs and staff members! 💕

We’re so proud of how far Bo has come and we are thrilled to celebrate him as our Dog of the Month! 🐶

Our November classes are filling fast, so if you’ve been thinking about training, now’s the time to jump in!

We’re also running our Board & Train Special — $50 off per week, per dog through the end of the year!

Please note: December will be a planning month, so no new classes will start. All rollovers and beginner classes will begin in January so everyone (pups included!) can enjoy the holiday break. 🎄

Enrichment activities are always Monday- Friday and we can not wait to see your dogs dive into all the fall fun! ❤️

Our Story

Spencer's Dog Training journey started at a young age in Vancouver, BC. He had the privilege to work alongside Trainers and Behaviorists at a Hunting dog academy. Spencer championed gun dogs and show dogs as a Junior handler, but his true passion was Animal Behavior.

After moving to Arizona, Spencer knew that he wanted to continue to pursue Dog Training and Animal Behavior. Spencer spent 7 years as a Dog Trainer for PetSmart - in that time he led his store to be the #3 store in the nation for Dog Training, and was hand picked to train future Dog Trainers! His passion and knowledge ultimately led to PetSmart consulting with him to revamp their Dog Training curriculum - which is still in use today!

Spencer and Lauren Mak started Mak Pack Dog Training & Boarding 6 years ago on a simple premise. To provide an all-inclusive experience for Owners and their Pets. They have devoted their nights, weekends, and holidays, to the unwavering philosophy of Behavior, Obedience, and Socialization.

When a dog comes into our care - we ensure that we provide them with everything they need to be successful and well adjusted - Structure, Obedience, Socialization, Behavior Modification, Potty Training & More! With their new venture - and having a dedicated Indoor Training, Daycare, and Boarding facility - they no longer want to be the best kept secret in Canine Care and Education.
