So I got to see Penny today, and I can’t believe she is almost 9 years old. I met the Copelands when Penny was about 1. She has been truly one of the sweetest dogs anyone could meet.

I call her a Little Lightning Bolt, and she just loves playing with her friends and also playing in the tub.

So here’s a montage of Penny, she’s even been a muse for my artwork.

Thanks to the Copelands for always trusting me with members of their family. It’s an honor to watch Penny grow up to be a mom, and a grandma.

Thank you Christen Smith Blank for bringing in your newest addition to your family. Nala did so well for her first grooming, since she had her leg removed. And boy does she like the feel of her new haircut. She also made 3 new dog friends too boot.

Hey everyone, I wanted to let you know Tekoa dog grooming is back open. I’ve been healing well from surgery and am back doing limited work. I’ll be working with dogs under 45lbs for the foreseeable future. I have a few appointments a week, as I’ll be in physical therapy for a few more months. Sherman came in today for his grooming and looks so good now. Thanks Laurie Burke-Overton for coming back and having a cute ass dog too.

Just letting everyone know that my surgery date is September the 4th. So Tekoa Dog Grooming will be closed for about 8-10 weeks so I can heal up and get back to work safely. Thank you all for your understanding. I have some opening still left in August, if you have a dirty dog that needs a bath.

So this is Debo, he was just rescued by a loving family. He never had a grooming before, and did so well. He’s about a year old, so that was a lot for him. But boy did he feel good afterwards. Let’s welcome Debo to Washington and wish him all the best with a new loving family. Thank you Piper Dickinson for bringing in your new little man.
