I’m baaaack! I took some much needed time off to rest and get energized for this year. Now that April is upon us, I hope to see more Persian kitten litters arriving soon. It has been a bit of a slow spring, with a few less litters than I normally have.

If you’re on my waitlist, thanks for being patient and know that I am waiting patiently as well. This isn’t a quick process. I will be in touch.

Here is my latest litter! Brother and sister duo! I am happy to announce that they will be going to the same family. These two little cuties are so close and their companionship will be a benefit. They sleep, eat and play together! Here they are at 6 weeks. They still have a few weeks to go before they leave. More pics and video coming soon! Stay tuned!

They are just soooo handsome. Here is the last photo shoot before going to their new homes. These pictures were just taken yesterday. They did so well and are just a bunch of hams. They simply have the best personalities and will settle into their new homes quickly.

This week has been a whirlwind of activities! I am hoping to get more pictures and video of the kittens before they leave. I’ve been waiting for a sunny day, but these seem far and few. Hopefully by Saturday? More to come!

The kittens have adjusted so well to my kitten room and have been playing up a storm! They are learning to climb with more confidence and really have become the biggest sweethearts!

The vet visit with the wee ones was a success! It is so difficult during the winter to take babies out in the freezing cold temps, loading them up in a car and waiting on our turn to see the doctor. They were gems though and stayed snuggly warm in my car as we drove to and from.

I was able to take a few snapshots to share. (Winter, grey skies do not lend to good photography). They were champs though and stayed awake long enough for me to get some. Just a couple weeks left to go before joining their new families! I sure will miss them and all their cuddles. They are so sweet!

First babies of 2025!

These little cutie pies are the newest babies at Summerlyn Persians and all have families eagerly awaiting their arrival to their new homes. They will be traveling to the vet for their first exam and vaccines this week. They have a few weeks to go before they are ready to leave. I will post more pics and video soon! Stay tuned.

I have begun my waitlist contacting and I realize that I may have estimated incorrectly. I have far more that would prefer females over males! Where are my little, affectionate, fluffy, male lovers? I still have a few people to connect with, so I will continue tomorrow (Tuesday). I also have a MUCH shorter list for males and if you’re open to color choices.

If I have been in touch recently and have given you a much longer timeline, please get in touch, as you may be able to snuggle a new fur baby sooner! You may have inquired, but didn’t get added to my contact list.

Also please respond if I send a message to you. I know that under some circumstances, things have changed and I understand that. I just never know if I don’t get any response back. Kind courtesy.

Happy Groundhog Day! Looking ahead to this week, I am excited to make connections with my waitlist as it is that time of year again! It will all begin at 12 noon, tomorrow (Monday)!

Spring kittens are here and more litters are on the way! If you are considering adding a new Persian kitten to your home, please consider asking yourself these questions before bringing a new kitten into your home.

I have had a few, past circumstances, arise that have caused an unnecessary delay in connecting with my waitlist and in placing kittens. I will deny a home, if I see it is not a good match.

Please be aware -I do move quickly and efficiently. I do not use an application. Please ask yourself these questions to make sure a new kitten will be a good fit. I will speak with you in person as the process progresses. I will also re-ask these questions. I want my kittens to have the best home possible. I do require clear, thorough communication for both parties (you and me).

I want this to be an exciting, fun event for you and your family! If you are on my waitlist, please make sure to have these things in place/answered BEFORE asking to be added to my waitlist. This is a HUGE time saver.

1. Ask your spouse, children and make this a family choice. No surprises. Make sure all are in agreement.
2. Make sure that you can financially provide medical care (vaccines, routine vet visits, spay/neuter). Additional food, housing and health care.
3. You are aware of family allergies (cat). Do not go on “ I should be ok.” A Persian may cause allergies.
4. Children should be old enough, disciplined and can safely have a pet in the home. Persians do not like a rambunctious, loud household.
5. Please research the Persian breed and be aware of their health and grooming needs. They are a high maintenance breed and will need grooming daily.
6. Will other cat(s), dog(s), etc., you may have in your home, be able to cohabitate peacefully with a new addition? Have your existing pet(s) been around other animals? Know their temperament.
7. Do you live in a house, apartment that will require special permission (landlord permission)? Have this knowledge and agreement/ approval prior.
8. Summerlyn Persians is located in SE Michigan. Are you within reasonable driving distance? No transport available. Residence pickup only.

Happy caturday Everyone! 😸 I hope you’re having a wonderful weekend so far.

Just an update.. I got a little bit too excited and wanted to slow things down just a bit with the newest kittens. I have decided to wait just a few more days to take pictures of them as we are in the thick of weening at the moment.

They are coming along nicely and growing so chubby and adorable. They are meeting all of their milestones and will be ready in a few weeks. I will most likely take their first pictures next week and will begin contacting soon thereafter. If you have been added to my waitlist, please check to see if I have connected with you by midweek, next week. Please be patient as this process takes a little while.

I can’t wait to show you the new fur babies of 2025! 😍
