The storm did quite a number at the farm. The power has still not been restored, but I am very thankful that everyone is safe and that we had enough room to move everyone away from the downed power lines. Many thanks to our boarders and friends and family that have helped. More cleanup to come once the line has been safely restored.

It’s been awhile since I’ve posted but we’ve been a little busy over here. Our newest addition made his arrival and has been accompanying me to the farm to check on his best friends. We start them young 🤣. Beans and Khamal are enjoying mud baths after a good hosing off and the girls just prefer baby smells.

Starting off with saying all the horses are safe — The wind was not messing around this evening.

This was a first at Sun Baron Stables where the wind flipped an anchored down run-in shed. These sheds have been through several wind storms and not budged.

I am thankful to have cameras on property that allowed me to catch this unfortunate event basically as it happened.

I am even more thankful for my husband and our boarders who showed up ASAP to meet me at the barn and had all hands on deck. Team effort tonight.

The horses were unfazed and thought it was super fun having all of us out there and getting moved to new pastures while we got it flipped back over.

Shoutout to Avery Building & Barns as I didn’t even find a single nail pop.

Be safe out there everyone.
