After a lot of thoughts and prayers, I’ve decided to take a break from Helen’s Healing Animal Rescue and Sanctuary.

My 501 C3 license is still valid, but I have put my Georgia status on hold. I will no longer be pulling animals, but I will continue to advocate for the animals in Polk and Bartow County.

This wasn’t an easy decision, but right now it’s the right one for me. I want to sincerely thank everyone who has supported me over the past few years. Your support has meant more than you know.

P.S. This is Jake! He is 11 years old and is now in his new forever home as his owner had to go through rehab and is now in Assisted Living. Oh how we love happy endings!

Hi everyone! I want to be very transparent here. 18 months ago my dad‘s villa was destroyed by hurricane Helene. I moved him to Rome, Georgia to be close to me. Well, we have been progressing along with his villa and then lo and behold his assisted living facility in Rome caught on fire. I closed down my shop in Rockmart and I am now focusing on my dad. My animal rescue still exists and I am financially helping  people in Polk and Bartow County to get their cats and dogs spayed and neutered. I am presently unable to pull any cats and dogs at this time. I have donated a lot of my cat food, dog food, and Kitten formula to local areas. I thank you all for your love and support and I will continue to help as many pets as I can.
