As we step into 2025, we want to say a huge thank you to our incredible community, staff & volunteers. Because of your support, we’ve spayed/neutered over 9,500 animals in 2025. Each one of those surgeries represents a healthier pet and a step toward ending pet overpopulation in our community. We couldn’t have done it without your trust and advocacy.

Friendly Reminder: We are closed today to spend time with our families, but we look forward to seeing you and your pets very soon!

🗓️ Policy Update: New SPAY/NEUTER Appointment Scheduling at PAWS Clinic as of January 2026

We heard you! We’ve made scheduling easier — no more calling right at 9:00 AM on Mondays!

✨ New Scheduling Process

📞 When to Call:
Call us any time during regular business hours (Monday–Thursday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM) to request an appointment for the following week only.

🗂️ How We Book:
Appointment requests are reviewed in the order they’re received (first call = first scheduled). We continue to book one week in advance only.

⏰ Appointments Full?
If you have not received a confirmation call by 5:00 PM on Thursday, the following week is fully booked. Please try again the next week during regular business hours.

⚠️ Quickly Filling Slots
Appointments for these categories fill up very fast:
🐱 Female cats
🐾 Feral cats
🐕 Larger dogs (50+ lbs)

📌 We continue to schedule only one week in advance. We receive hundreds of calls each week, so we truly appreciate your patience.

❓ FAQ

❔ Why haven’t I received a call back?
➡️ We may have already been full for the upcoming week by the time you called. While we do our best to help as many pets as possible, kennel space is limited. If you haven’t heard from us by Thursday at 5:00 PM, please call again the following week.

❔ I’ve called several times and still can’t get my pet in?
➡️ Please leave a detailed voicemail, including the phone number you’re calling from. We keep a detailed call log and are happy to look into it for you.

Please take note of our limited availability and holiday closures.

We will be closed on the following dates:

December 24th, 2025 – December 28th, 2025
December 31st, 2025 – January 4th, 2026

For all pet emergencies during our closure periods, please contact your nearest 24-hour emergency veterinary clinic.

Winter can be especially tough on pets — whether they’re outdoor community cats, pets waiting for surgery, or animals looking for loving homes. If you’re able, consider helping by:
🐾 Providing an outdoor shelter (with straw)
🐾 Bringing pets inside when possible
🐾 Provide heated water bowls for outdoor pets
