PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU'RE BRUSHING YOUR DOG BETWEEN VISITS! This is incredibly painful for the dog and so hard on them (and us) during the grooming process plus it will absolutely annihilate a clipper blade.

If you have a dog that's prone to matting I will absolutely walk you through the tools and techniques you need to keep them soft and fluffy and brushed out between groomings. It's a partnership for sure. I cannot undo weeks to months of neglect in a couple hours.

Hey guys! I have been meaning to make this post for a few days now... I just wanted to say if you've had your dog groomed within the last 6 weeks or so I sincerely apologize for not uploading pictures 🙏🏼😩 Life has just been LIFE-ing and things have been a little chaotic in my world. I promise I actually took pictures I just never got around to editing and posting and I know that makes me a bad groomer LOL. My goal for this month is to do much better on that front. I'm so sorry if your dog is one of the ones that got lost in the shuffle a bit. It wasn't intentional. The place that I've called home for the last 23 years and also where I've run my business from for the last almost 7 years recently sold and I was dealing with the possibility of not only having to close my business down but also find someplace else to live very quickly so that was super stressful to say the least especially on top of everything I've been dealing with in regards to my health. . Thankfully the housing crisis was averted (for now). As always, I appreciate both your patronage and your patience as I navigate everything. I promise to do better ❤️❤️❤️

Missed appointments cost me money! I always struggle with enforcing my cancellation fees bc I'm just that person who doesn't want to offend anybody BUT I also can't afford to keep taking the loss.... Please take a second to read my post (which should be pinned at the top of my page) to familiarize or refresh yourself with my "rules" (which are mostly just basic decency) I'm not trying to be the bad guy, however I can't keep letting stuff slide if I'm going to keep the doors open. I try really hard to be "flexible" but I also need others to be respectful of me & my time, as well as the financial bind I'm put in when I'm left scrambling to fill an appointment that was cancelled at the last minute or just ignored. I have to start enforcing the fees. I hope everyone can understand.

Although I'm sure y'all will recognize MOST of these fuzzy faces, we have definitely added a few new members to the SLPC...

Check out all the little loves I've been working on the last couple weeks. Obviously there has been an influx of inquiries about scheduling in the last day or so with the news of Piper & Paul relocating. I definitely appreciate the interest & support HOWEVER I do ask that before your schedule an appointment PLEASE read the PINNED POST at the top of my page to answer any questions you may have and familiarize yourself with my policies and procedures. (Existing clients, if you haven't already, please do so as well)

And as a reminder, the warm months are ALWAYS busy so PLEASE plan accordingly and don't wait until your dog is at critical mass lol 🤣 .... AND REMEMBER THAT SATURDAYS ARE PRIME REAL ESTATE so they will ALWAYS fill faster than any other day. Weekdays are your best best.
