Our FREE Vaccinated and Loved Pet Vaccine Clinic, thanks to Petco Love, is happening Wednesday, August 19th, and we want to see you there!

We’ve partnered with Petco Love to bring this special clinic to Monroe County residents as part of their Vaccinated and Loved campaign. Help protect your furry family members with vaccines that prevent serious illnesses.

Vaccines included: Rabies, DHPP and FVRCP

Important information: No appointment needed. First come, first serve, until capacity is reached. Bring your Monroe County ID. Dogs must be leashed (non-retractable). Cats must be in secure carriers. Nail trims are NOT available. Other services at discounted rates will be available.

We are thrilled that our guy found his forever home! We are honored to be a part of his story and so grateful to Anne Kraft for never giving up on Gumby! He needed someone to continue to show him love, but push him to do hard things and she did just that!!!

I had the pleasure of working with Henry recently for some puppy training. He is a smart guy and eager to learn! He picks up things quickly and is very food motivated. He would be a great addition to someone’s family🩵

6/29 update: ADOPTED!!! 🥳

While so many of our dogs spent Father’s Day celebrating with their forever families, sweet Henry found himself back in rescue. ❤️

Unfortunately, his adoption didn’t work out, but through no fault of his own. Henry is still just a puppy, happy, energetic, playful, and learning about the world.

Like most puppies, he gets excited, jumps for attention, and needs consistency, training, and patience as he grows.

Sometimes a home simply isn’t the right fit, and that’s okay.

What Henry needs now is someone willing to embrace all the fun, chaos, and love that comes with raising a young dog.

A family that will continue and be consistent with his training.
We think he’d also love a home with another playful dog, as he thrives with canine companionship.

So today, we know his happily ever after is still waiting, and we know it’s going to be worth it. 🐾❤️

We have loved working with Sophia and her parents to help make this adoption official! Excited to see all of their adventures.

Sophia is HOME ❤️

After months in foster care and multiple foster homes… Sophia’s adoption is finally official!

When Sophia first came to us, she came with an extra dose of energy, determination, and a personality all her own. Finding the right match wasn’t easy, but we knew her people were out there.

Then Ed and Kathryn stepped up…

What started as an emergency foster placement turned into something so much bigger. Through every challenge, they never gave up on her. They asked questions, put in the work, stayed consistent, and loved Sophia exactly as she was while helping her become the dog she was meant to be.

THANK YOU Ed and Kathryn for believing in Sophia and loving her through it all.

A huge thank you also goes out to Ginger and Fehlyn, who opened their homes and hearts to Sophia along the way. Every foster played a role in her journey, helping her get one step closer to the life she has today.

And we can’t forget Sarah Taylor from KPN, who has been there throughout Sophia’s journey, offering guidance, training support, and encouragement. It truly took a team effort to help Sophia reach this moment.

Today, Ed and Catherine made it official.

Sophia’s story is a beautiful reminder that the perfect home is the one that is willing to be patient, put in the work, and never stop believing.

Congratulations, Sophia. Your happily ever after was worth the wait. ❤️
