Deer vs Rally?

Rally really does look like a little deer! 🦌🌿 That golden coat blends right into the grass, and that curled-up pose in the sun is way too sweet. If someone walked by quickly, they might actually mistake Rally for a fawn hiding in the underbrush!

This handsome guy is being fostered in Pennington, NJ. He would do best with another dog to show him the ropes. He is house/crate trained and loves people. Gets a little nervous around small kids. He’s not mean, just fearful of them. This boy doesn’t have a mean bone in his body.

It’s Foster Friday-Meet Julius!🐶

His foster mom writes…..
Julius is a sweet, gentle pup with a calm personality. He’s pretty much housebroken, though like most young pups, he’s had a few accidents here and there. A true follower at heart, Julius would thrive in a home with another confident, older dog to show him the ropes. He can be a little skittish outside, but he does great on walks when he has a doggy friend by his side.

Julius is also wonderful with kids and enjoys playing with his toys and bones. He’ll happily entertain himself with his toys, but he’s always up for company and love, too.

With patience and reassurance, Julius will continue to grow into a loyal, loving companion.

Alumni Update - Sidney, now Cardi B!🐶❤️

She is doing AMAZING!! She is a very well behaved puppy and she’s very healthy.

She settled in the first day, and has been spoiled ever since! ♥️ We will always be forever grateful to SoCo!

Her sister, Sasha, is being fostered near Flemington, NJ. She’s a cutie too!

Sibling Playdate! 💕

Katie & Kira (now Lucy) had a blast with SoCo Alumni Felix (now Ares)! Both foster mom’s enjoy watching non-stop wiggles and playtime!

Katie and Lucy’s first homes weren’t meant to be forever, but they gave these girls the chance to show just how special they are. ❤️

Katie is heading to her forever home this Thursday (thanks to her amazing foster mom for recognizing her heart and finding the perfect family!), while sweet Lucy is still looking for hers… could it be with you? 🐾❤️

He’s settled into a great routine and enjoys weekly playdates at Confident Canine in Flemington with his friends. He loves car rides, couch naps, and stealing hearts every day.

Looking for a Weekend Co-Foster for Lyra! 🐾

Lyra’s amazing foster mom needs a helping hand on some weekends so she can cheer on her daughter at soccer games! Usually, it’s just for one night, but occasionally it may be the whole weekend.

Lyra has been thriving in her foster home near Flemington, NJ—she’s house-trained, crate-trained, and an absolute sweetheart. She enjoys her walks but is also perfectly happy playing with her toys or cuddling up at night.

She gets along well with her foster’s dogs, but since this is just a short-term arrangement, we’re looking for a pet-free home (no dogs or cats) to keep things simple.

Meet PINKY!
Her foster mom writes…I’ve been fostering Pinky since May. She’s about 3 years old and her favorite activities are snuggling, playing, eating and snoring- oops I mean sleeping. She gets on with my dogs well but thinks she’s a bit better with dogs her size. She is house trained and crate trained and loves everyone. A very happy soul. She is HW+ but I will continue to pay for treatment until it’s gone. Livestock are not so good…

I think she would make a great family pet, but probably not small children or elderly, just because she is a bit of a bull in a china shop. She would thrive in a home with someone that can tell her what a good girl she is and play with her- she has a great sense of humor- and just hang out on the couch- that would be dreamy for her. I don’t think she has ever been physically abused, she loves people and is super friendly with everyone. I think she would be great for a veteran.

The City of Dublin and Laurens County truly has a gem in Kim Taylor and her staff at the DLHS.
