Alumni Update!!

We just wanted to send a quick update about how great our Nico (formerly Krypto) is doing!

He and our other SoCo pup, Dottie (formerly Dilly) got off to a great start from day one and are the very best of friends. He was a little more apprehensive about the rest of us at first but we earned his trust and affection and he is an absolute love. ❤️

He follows our boys around everywhere they go and rotates whose bed he sleeps in nightly! We are so grateful to have him and Dottie as a part of our family!

Meet Our Two Remaining “Z” Boys!  

Zander (white face) and Zavier (deep brindle & looks like he's winking, but no worries, he's been seen by the vet & it's a harmless imperfection) are ready to bring sweetness, fun, and puppy joy to your family!   

Here's info from their awesome foster families❤️

"Zander is affectionate, curious, friendly, and loves everyone he meets! He is playful, energetic, and gets along great with dogs of all sizes and has loved playing with our other dogs. Even though he is a puppy, he is also gentle and well-behaved, and crashes after playtime. Zander loves to snuggle and cuddle up with you on the couch for naps. He is already sleeping through the night and is learning and getting the hang of potty training! Zander is the perfect loyal, loving, and playful companion to add to your family! "

"Zavier is settling in nicely but there’s still a chance he could find his furever family before the New Year! Just shy of 3 months & his potty training is going so well (only one tiny accident inside). Super playful, loves girls, scared of the cat, and loves lap naps and being held. He’s a little barnacle puppy!"

While they’re clearly soaking up all the love and being wonderfully spoiled by their foster families, these babies are still dreaming of their forever families. 💖

This sweet girl is our current foster puppy 💕 She’s just about 3 months old, has a shiny short coat, and the most loving personality.

Faith Hill is ready for her forever home!❤️

Here's what her doting foster mom has to say about her!

Faith Hill is a cuddly little love bug. She enjoys napping in the sun, jumping around like a bunny rabbit, and playing with balls and her Christmas toys. She is very calm, plays well with cats, dogs and children. She has a fun and spunky energy, but loves to sleep too!  Faith Hill has been working on potty training and crate training and is doing an amazing job, she’s a smart girl who wants to please!

Meet fun loving Laverne!

Her bio says - When you look into Laverne’s eyes, you’ll see just how deep her love for you could be. Yearning for love and doing all she can to find it. She’s very affectionate, plays gently and loves belly rubs almost as much as she does giving kisses. She’s gotten along great with her companion Shirley and does well with another dog. (We’re not yet sure about cats.) Laverne loves “tracking” scents along the ground, with proper training, she could become a great search-rescue type of dog.

We were so excited to meet her off of her Freedom Ride trip to NJ. She did not disappoint!!!
She is such a beauty inside & out!

Boy, did SoCo feel the love this weekend!! ❤️🐾

It’s a busy time of year, but thanks to our incredible NJ team, another successful adoption event came together. We are beyond grateful to our dedicated volunteers and fosters—and a huge thank you to Tractor Supply for always hosting and supporting us!

One of the absolute highlights was seeing so many of our alumni stop by to wish Scott a Merry Christmas. It truly warmed his heart and reminded us why we do what we do.

Holiday Cheer for SoCo Pups!

A huge thank you to our friends at Barkley’s Marketplace (Branchburg Store) and their big-hearted patrons for so many awesome presents for our dogs and puppies awaiting adoption! We are truly overwhelmed by the generosity and support!

Newly arrived (and available for adoption!) little Asher (kind of hard to see, zoom in on the volunteer on the right!) was happy to accept the gifts on behalf of his fellow SoCo pups and promises to share!

We are so appreciative of our partnership with Barkley’s and everyone’s kindness. There will be some very happy pups on Christmas morning opening up these wonderful new toys and treats from Barkley’s! 🎄🐾
