💛🌼I’ve decided to call her Martha 🌼💛

She has such a calm and sweet demeanor and loves to just sit out in the sun and take long naps next to her brother 💤

The incubator is reloaded for another hatch coming early May!

IF YOU WANT CHICKS let me know so I can message you when they are ready for pick up! They will be straight run (meaning not sexed) Easter eggar/ameraucana crosses. $5 each, $4 each if you buy 5 or more. They can lay a variety of egg colors like blue, green or pink and will have the cutest puffy cheeks! 😊🫶🥰

I can’t wait for this finished project it’s going to look so good!!

That is the new boy goat barn. We are redoing the pens completly with this new barn and dividing the pens into long skinny sections instead of the grey shelters and square paddocks they have now. These barn will be so much better for blocking that winter weather but also creating perfect shade in the summer!

We went with 4’x16’ 4x4” utility panels for our fencing since the male goats are so tough on the fence especially the fence line between the pens so this will just be a sure way for the fence to stay super sturdy and strong and no baby goats can fit through! Lol.

Eventually as the nicer weather comes we will stain the barn, add the sliding windows and finish the inside of the stalls but right now we just want to get it done enough to get those guys in there!

Made some good progress today on the new pasture border fence and working on setting a few more posts so we can get the gates up and get those boys in their new barn!

This is going to be a tiresome & expensive project but well worth it and hopefully with last a VERY long time!

We are also working on our new boy barn and getting that ready to go so stay tuned a post on that is coming. Hopefully the rain lets up so the concrete where the posts are can dry properly 🤞

I have so many new goals for this year and especially new farm Plans in the works.

I am also letting go of negativity and things I cannot control and really trying to focus on things that are in my control and that I have the power to make a difference or influence with!
