What a pleasant surprise!🩷🥹

Primrose gave birth to a beautiful single doeling this evening on a beautiful winter day! ☀️ she is strong & healthy with some beautiful markings; the first of Bobby’s off spring (our buck we added to the heard last year). It will be awesome to see how Prim does on the milkstand and mothers her first baby, so far she’s doing great.

Winter time for us means lots of baking and from scratch home cooked meals 💕 I appreiciate the guys going out and doing farm chores while it’s dark cold and windy or wet outside so I like to do my part by keeping bellies and hearts full!

Life on the farm with now two kiddos has been a big adjustment for me. Realizing I can’t do it all & how much I value my village. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t looking forward to spring, but I’m trying to take on these winter days best I can.

The boys are enjoying their new paddocks already🙌

Hard work pays off. This fence took a long time & is not the cheap route to go but it is tall, sturdy, and will last a long time with these stinky bucks! 🐐 Still some work to go but it feels good to get them out of the barn and into their pens.

Now to clean the stench out of the girls barn 🤢…
