Louis was absolutely feeling like a big jungle cat here. Stretched out under the planter on the catio, surveying the space like it’s his personal kingdom (which is kind of lol).

He might live in a house with blankets and snack breaks… but the spirit of a lion? Well, that is very much alive and well.

While the kitties are on vacay with their hugramma, I thought to introduce their critter cousins! There are four cats and two pups (who we refer to as "the poodles") and all have big personalities. ⁠

1. Dory & Lily - a sweet momma cat and kitten duo⁠
2. Claire - an independent yet thoughtful provider⁠
3. Luna - a devoted rescue poodle who (tries to) run the house⁠
4. Bella - an introverted rescue poodle mix who loves to snuggle (her two approved people)⁠
5. Grey - a gorgeous-yet-spicy rag doll rescue who feels like a bunny⁠

Emory is obsessed with her hudad, and I am more of the "spare human" who gives her wet food. But in this case? There was a heated fleece blanket behind me, so she decided I was acceptable company.

She has her own cat logic and it always works in her favor. Truly, cats have it all.
