🐈‍⬛✨ A little folklore and a whole lotta love. Happy National Black Cat Day!

For centuries, black cats have been surrounded by myths, magic, and superstitions. In some stories, they were feared as bad omens. In others, they were symbols of luck, prosperity, and protection.

But here’s the truth: black cats don’t need to be magical to be extraordinary. 🖤

They’re curious, quirky, cuddly, chaotic, and completely deserving of love — just like any other cat.

Today, we’re celebrating the history, folklore, and fascinating facts behind these beautiful little panthers. Swipe through to discover their stories, and tell us:

Are black cats good luck in your book? 🌙

Share this with a fellow void lover.

Día de Mu***os is a beautiful tradition centered around remembering and celebrating the lives of those we love. We want to honor that tradition by creating an ofrenda (offering table) dedicated to the beloved pets who have crossed the rainbow bridge.

Our pets are family, and their memories deserve to be celebrated, too. 🧡

We invite our Modern Paws family to share a photo of your dearly departed pet so we can add their photo and name to our ofrenda and honor the special place they hold in your heart.

📸 To participate: Send us a photo of your beloved pet along with their name. You can email it to us directly at [email protected].

We’ll proudly display them on our ofrenda throughout our Día de Mu***os celebration.

Because even though they’re no longer by our side, they will always be a part of our family and never forgotten. 🐾🧡
