The wait is over. Our 100th anniversary season begins with the return of the nation’s top stables, world-class trainers, and elite jockeys to the track that has become a Florida racing icon.

Known for its immaculate turf course, signature palm-lined setting, and welcoming family atmosphere, Tampa Bay Downs is where history and heart meet every race.

Admission is Free!

Gates open at 11:00 AM. Post Time 12:25.

Energy Efficient is a lovely and classy 2020 gelding, about 16.1, who’s retiring sound, no vices, and a cute mover. He is uncomplicated and straight forward to handle, he has been with same connections off and on for three years, the last year solely being with them. He has been a good racehorse and is just no longer interested in his job. Does have an old blemish over a tendon but has always had it and is a nonissue.

This big gorgeous guy is classy and very straightforward to handle and ride. He travels in a beautiful natural frame with a nice soft mouth, sensible and comfortable gaits. This is an extremely rideable type. Will make a nice hunter/eq type but would also do well in eventing. Retiring from racing sound, no injuries or issues and no vices. Easy keeper, easy to be around and easy to look at. RRP eligible.

Retiring sound with no known injuries, no vices. Uncomplicated and straight forward to handle and ride. He is a cute mover, great brain and good work ethic. Does have an old knot over tendon but never had a bow, etc and has been with connections since 2 years old, said to have come in with it. RRP eligible
