Big, kind, easy going gelding that has run out of racing eligibility at Delaware Park. Rides in a long and low frame, steady even paced, and as sensible as they come (rides exactly how he jogs in hand), will hack out. He would do really well on the hunter circuit but would also enjoy eventing. Said to have no known vices. This guy has had a solid racing career, mild rounding of front of ankles, nonlimiting and a nonissue. This gelding is the perfect horse for a junior or ammy to bring along.

Here’s a pretty, correct, robust gelding looking for an easy lifestyle suited for the laziest of characters . In Pancake’s ideal world he’ll be admired and be someone’s trail type. He’s not inclined to do much round penning or arena work (he’s not a fan of buggy whips) - open ranch work or hacking out is more his forte. He just wants to pokey along, way more woah than go. Smooth moving and comfortable to ride, he was bought to be made up into a track pony but due to his owner closing on a property, she doesn’t have the time for her surplus horses. He has good feet and legs. Does have papers if you care about that stuff. Currently sitting and occasionally being ridden. Full history is unknown. No stable vices, no maintenance, easy keeper, Pancake is selective about his turnout friends. As all race track policies, no trying under saddle. This is the same as a retiring thoroughbred.

This is a tall lanky kind horse that could use some turn out time to just be a horse. He is very sweet and personable, he appreciates everything people do for him. He is the lesson/teacher type for green gallop riders, he’s laidback and uncomplicated. Will suit a lesson program. No vices, no known injuries, mild rounding of ankles.

After some plumping up and time to loosen up through the body, he’ll be a fun all around type.

Anyone have a sport breeding program?

I have a nice thoroughbred mare available that would cross really well with drafts. Perfect for a breeding program for sporty drafts. She’s a big mover, built very nice with lots of bone. Does have an old bow but is sound and rideable also.
