To all of you thank you for sharing like crazy....Blue made it back to his family! A friend of a friend had spotted him in a vacant lot near the southwestern perimeter of the MacDill Air Force base. This means he crossed over Dale Mabry and lived to see us again. My friend Cheryl has given him a new name....Gansta 6 lbs Chihuahua! 5 days in the brush. But thanks specifically to Jamie Brietbart and Macey Mc Aleer people I have never met, who had fed him since Thursday and reported him on Instagram. He never let anyone near him, which is very like him! Even David had to persuade him to come out. My brother, David went last night at 2 AM and searched for him until 5....then returned this morning, neither time seeing him. One last attempt this afternoon proved to be the trick.

Ronda Lang is going to the field where he was spotted...hopefully she with find Blue there or the another poor puppy needing help! I am so grateful to Rebel Rescue and Ronda for making herself available to me. Words can never be enough.

He is such a little dog and easily scared. I was sent a picture of a vacant lot west of MacDill where someone saw a small dog....mixed breed they said....no picture. They are feeding him but cannot get him. David was out there at 2 AM looking and could not find him....I have no idea if this is him....but this guy needs to be saved too. I have to stay here until tomorrow but I cannot stand this...i don't know I may get in my car and go back right now....

David my brother went to the Greens Meat Market on Interbay and MacDill.....The mysterious woman who told someone she found a small dog has not reappeared. I have to be home for Monday but I just want to cry....i thought this person was a lottery person and would come in today. He has charmed his captures and know they will keep him from me.

So many I have met I do not have their names.....one the 14th I met a young mother who lives on Switzer. She was in her yard playing with her little ones. She offered to post in Next Door for the neighborhood. She had also sent me a picture of another chihuahua who was found in the neighborhood. I will go and thank her again when I can.

Grover is an older white man who came up to me as I posted my posters and asked me about Blue. He took me to his car which he had a deluxe set up for Lamb Chop, a sweet little white poodle. Like me he takes Lamb Chop everywhere with him. Everyday in the morning he calls me to check on me and the status of Blue. He is actively asking his neighbors if they have seen Blue and reports back to me.

He had known me for 10 minutes and now he is trying to help.

How sweet is this? I am grateful for meeting and knowing Grover.
