Midnight right after eating. He doesn’t usually display like this but I messed with him too soon after eating. Blue beauties give a great defensive display. Their size being one of the bigger reason the display is so impressive imo. What species has your favorite defensive display?

Garden Amazon looking good after a spray. The garden gene has found a solid spot in my collection. I’m curious how much can be done with this phenotype. There’s definitely a lot of variability within the garden gene so I’m optimistic some of my ideas will pan out. If not, these are still incredible animals that give an amazing natural look to these boas. Which look do you prefer? Gardens and Halloweens? Or bicolors and tricolors?

I picked up a group of Chinese Water Dragons from during the trip to Tinley a couple months ago. These guys have been growing like weeds and I have been very pleased with how they are all coloring up. The variability of the group has been fun to observe as well. This isn’t a species you typically think of when you think of a variable species but it’s definitely there. I’m excited to grow this group up and see exactly how my groups are going to look. Who else has CWDs and what have you noticed as far as variability within this species?
