Remember these familiar faces? 🐶👀 Doug & Lewis are back with TheDoodPack Rescue (Lutz, FL) after originally being adopted through us in October 2024. Sadly, due to no fault of their own, their adopter was no longer able to afford their ongoing care and made the decision to return them to us.

Doug is a 3-year-old neutered male Goldendoodle/Poodle Mix, and Lewis is a 3-year-old neutered male Poodle Mix. 🐩🐕‍🦺 These boys are the ideal duo for a family, or even friends/family members, looking for a pair of Doods to keep close! 💙🐾

They are wonderfully trained, social, playful, friendly, and truly such perfect companions. They have already lived in a home, know how to be part of a family, and deserve a fresh start with the stability and love they were always meant to have. 🥰 Doug & Lewis are currently looking for foster-to-adopters while waiting for their annual vaccine appointment through our partners at the Animal Health Center. 🏥

Meet Chocolate 🍫🐶 a 6-year-old chocolate Lab looking for a foster or, ideally, a forever home that can give her the structure, space, and patience she needs to thrive!

This beautiful girl has been loved by her family since she was just 12 weeks old, but with baby #5 on the way, they’ve realized Chocolate needs more than they’re able to provide right now. This decision has not been easy, but they’re trying to do right by her before things become too overwhelming.

Chocolate is smart, active, goofy, and water-obsessed in true Lab fashion. 🌊 She loves walks, fetch, swimming, car rides, and being part of the action. 🤩 She has done well with kids, cats, and other dogs, though she seems to do best with female dogs, puppies, or dogs who don’t push her around.

Chocolate is also a known escape artist, can dig, and has gotten out of fenced areas despite her family’s best efforts. She can be protective and anxious around unfamiliar people, especially if they approach the home, yard, or car. Her family shared that she has never bitten anyone, but she will bark, alert, and can come across intimidating when nervous.

Chocolate needs someone who understands active, protective dogs and can give her safe structure, secure containment, patience, and honest boundaries.

Chocolate is not currently spayed, and her rabies vaccine needs to be updated.

Right now, TheDoodPack Rescue urgently needs foster families 🐾❤️ As a foster/home-based rescue, the number of dogs we’re able to help is directly dependent on the number of loving homes willing to foster. Without fosters, dogs in need lose the opportunity for safety, stability, and a second chance 🏡

TheDoodPack Rescue provides supplies, veterinary care, guidance, and ongoing support throughout the process. We simply ask our fosters to provide a safe and loving temporary home while these pups prepare for their forever families 🐶 Whether you can foster short term, long term, puppies, adults, or just want to learn more about how you can help, we’d love to connect with you 🙏

While TheDoodPack Rescue is not directly affiliated with this donation drive, we always love helping spread the word for fellow shelter pets in need… and let’s be honest, who’s saying no to FREE coffee? ☕️👀😂

Tomorrow, May 23rd from 9am–12pm, stop by Caribou Coffee on SR 54 in Lutz with a physical donation for local shelters and receive a FREE medium drink! 🐶❤️

Let’s just say we know where our morning walk tomorrow is going to be! 🤪
